Think it will come down to 5 games over late December/New Year. Barnet, Weymouth, KL, Aldershot and Dover. 3 wins needed min

Maidenhead are being dragged into the scrap, particularly if you beat them in a couple of weeks

Dover are obviously gone. Be stunned if King's Lynn stay up after watching them the other night.

I'll go for Weymouth for the last one.

It’s one of those features of this league that someone, generally one of the smaller or part-time teams with less depth, absolute plummets from near the play-offs or mid-table after Christmas.

I also think, with what we have going on behind the scenes to sort out this 3 year shambles, that we should be Ok eventually this season. I didn't want to say this earlier in the season as there was no substance to back it up and I certainly didn't want to, and still don't, want to come across as disrespecting the other clubs that are in this division, by alluding to a "right" to do better. I strongly don't believe that by the way. ( Had enough of that from the likes of Leeds, West Ham and the like when we did make it up to the 2nd tier of the football ladder and know how that motivates both players and fans to run out as winners and we ended up beating both the aforementioned teams at least once). You are where you deserve to be in football and right now we deserve to be where we are, following the events on and off the field for the past three years.

Circumstances have given us a better than average chance of pulling away with the three down this year and Dover's points fine for sure. Nothing is guaranteed though and we have a lot of work still to do to start pulling away. But we have a slightly brighter horizon to chase and whilst nothing is guaranteed, I would certainly hope we can pull away from the lower reaches of the division between now and the season's close.

It will all come out in the wash.........

I had the pleasure of watching Paul Mullin in action for one season and I can tell you one thing. He scored a shitload of goals and yet he only took his shirt off when celebrating a goal against a proper club

No disrespect taken, we (well at least some of us) know we are punching way above just being in the NL and if, by any miracle, we stayed up this season it would only be the same next year so relegation may turn out to be a blessing although you can never be sure what our owner will do next. We have Aldershot on Saturday and Dover (who imo should never have been allowed to start the NL season) next week so our fate may be sealed well before Christmas.
