Dover's team were on a train that arrived back in London 7 hours after it left Leeds. :ohm:

We've still not conceded a goal in the second half of any game this season.

Massively disappointing result for us today against another tinpot outfit and shows we're a bit short in certain areas.

Can we sign Cook off Tranmere? Unlikely, but he'd be the answer.

He would leave mate. Hes not tried last 4 games.... sulking

We have scored once in 5 games and that was a 97th minute goal.

Mellon may be a good manager but hes not doing it

Hilarious how bad this division is and for years I was the only one saying that it wasn't 'getting stronger every year'.

We're a point off the lead with an average squad age of 17. :fl:

I think we went into yesterday's game as a team thinking that three points were there for the taking. And that feeling only increased when we went 1 up inside five minutes.

Paid for it in the end and lucky to get away with a draw. We dominated the second half without creating any clear cut chances and were fortunate in the end to get away with a point from a last minute goal straight from the corner that the 'keeper misjudged. Great celebrations but we were lucky to get away with a point in that sense.

These are games we should be winning if we want to be serious contenders for automatic promotion.

On a side note, recommend any supporters that have not been to Solihull to do so while they're in this league. An excellent away day, plenty of pubs and if you win as we did last year it's even better.

Not sure why , but the drive from Leeds to Guiseley , seems to take as long as it does to get to Leeds from London . This is our 4th visit here as well and yet to lose at their place

This must rate as our poorest performance of the season , even so at the final whistle, felt disappointed with just the point as we dominated the second half, with out breaking through their packed out defence, but reflecting over the game a draw was the fair result, a we were at sixes and sevens in the first half, and they could have had a decent lead by then

Really poor goal to concede from a free kick that went through the bloody wall, deflecting into the net , A great reaction save by Walker prevented then going 2 up, but a peach of a goal for us to draw level . which came at a good time as Guiseley had already starting their time wasting antics, which we well document at Wrexham last week

Poor game but keeps our unbeaten record going , Which includes two 1-1 draws with a Cox team, so perhaps he has sussed us out a bit, and a quicker trip to join the A1 on the way home. which seems better that the teams travel news

Yeah, that would have been embarrassing! Quality journalism from the BBC.

BBC coverage of this league is fucking diabolical. Match reports appear the following month, never show the right attendance, update the scores once every 36 minutes, no live text. Whereas when we were in a proper division, the coverage was mostly quick and updated.

Have to go over to flashscores instead when I can't get to the game. They're about the fastest around.

Chester: Most famous win -Beat First Division Leeds United and Newcastle United in League Cup before losing in semi final over 2 legs to Aston Villa. They were in 4th division at the time. Oh yes, they also beat Newcastle United away in the FA Cup.

Maidenhead: Most famous win- once beat Halifax Town at The Shay in the FA Trophy. Halifax were in the Conference at the time.

I'll back any of our Football League brothers against the Tin Pot fuckers. :ds:

You must have missed it - Tranmere won the league when they beat Cammell Laird 11-0 in pre season.

They also topped the 'since Mellon was manager' league table last season.

It says it all that we can throw away a 2 goal lead against 10 men, be lucky not to lose, and still sit just the 3 points off the top. Any reasonably good side would walk this league.

I can't say I noticed any time wasting yesterday. We had Correia stretchered off 1st half after a nasty looking landing. I don't recall any other incidents? I was glad of the point as you dominated the second half but never seemed to get close to scoring. Walker kept you in the game in the first half hour, we should have been at least two ahead by then.
I'm still optomistic that we will head up to mid table now we have a well organised system and an improved strike force being recruited imminently.

Challinor's been there ages though! How many will you be bringing next week you think? I must admit I thought Fylde were midtable after I saw you beat Barrow a few weeks back, you looked an ok side.

There will be goals next week as neither of us cna defend for shit it seems!

Your club is on borrowed fucking time pal. When Blackpool get their shit together again you're going back to your cabbage patch and less than 100 fans again.:bdick:

There's been a mention of Mellon being tapped up on a Rovers forum. No idea if true or whether it's your side.

That's been said for years. Doesn't seem to be happening though

I'm not sure how many we'll bring to be honest. Yeah challinor has been here ages. Our chairman isn't the type to just fire managers off left, right and centre. The problem challinor has and this applied last season is that he's the most negative manager I've ever seen in the dugout. At kellamergh park I was on the other side of the ground so didn't notice but this season I'm quite close to the dugout and all he ever does is shake his head and swear at the players. I've never once in 2 seasons seen him offer any encouragement what so ever. It's poisonous. If your a player and you look to the bench and the manager is just flapping his arms about it rubs off on you.

Also, he's recruited really poorly and that's costing us now. To have a squad of 17/18 players and only 2 centre backs is a disgrace. The betting scandal hasn't helped and in my opinion we were a better side last season with those players but we're a full time team that cannot defend, anyway I'm rambling on now. Thanks for everything you've done Dave but your time is up

We had a terrible first half but completely bossed the second, not giving you a chance to do anything

Everything felt so plastic about the club, yes a nice sports bar but half the people in there were suit types. I've never seen a group of fans so happy they lost a game!

They had a drum which they used a couple of times each half, not that you could hear fans singing with it though. "2022 be a part of the journey" on every cup, is that when moneybags owner packs it in a sods off elsewhere?

Last season was the first that BBC stopped doing it. Think the Sky Sports Centre app also started only updating at HT and FT.

Up to then, you could get scores as you would the FL.
