Can't really remember Cousins making a save. We should have won by three or four, but obviously happy to get the win.

The absolute state of this division this season that Cousins is #1 in the team currently running amok at the top.

Seemed like one of those games where were probably should of won it but for a few missed opportunites (and several good saves), but our defending let us down again. Sounds like Eastleigh's equaliser for 2-2 by Marcus Barnes is one to look out for on the highlights.

Well, that was garbage. How are we second in the league? So inconsistent with our performances. Just shows how bad the league is this year

After 3 years of watching football without hope or purpose, I'm looking forward to each and every game this season. How many times and in how many different ways will we score tonight?

Haven’t said much so far this season. Enjoying the ride.
Dream like stuff right now and not going to say much more than that.
Got to keep the hard work first mentality and not get too excited.

Seen how this division can bite you in the arse and it all goes upside down pretty quickly.

Probably be about 3 months before Red Passion recovers. It's crashed off the face of the earth after that third goal.

still surely this must be about the last rites for Hughes's managerial career at Wrexham though?

Up to eleventh, our highest point this season. We're not great, have a bit of an injury crisis, Ardley definitely under pressure from fans every time we drop points but, we are creeping away from the relegation spots and the play off dotted line is coming into view.

Maidenhead 1-2 Dover

Injuries and clueless tactics did for us today. Our midfield is nothing without Comley so we were forced to use our only backup at CM in fourth choice CB Aron Davies, who doesn't even seem to understand the basics of a holding midfield role.

Josh Smile aside, we had no real quality on the pitch ahead of the back line but insisted on playing 433. Cassidy doesn't have the all round game to be effective as a lone striker without quality wingers who come inside to support him.

0-1 down at HT, Danny Whitehall came on and bailed us out with a terrific free kick - he's starting to rival Dan Sparkes in the "average players who take brilliant free kicks" category. Sadly, from open play, Devonshire's tried and repeatedly failed tactic of playing two target men in a 433 with no wingers didn't work, and Dover sucker punched us with a decent counter and great finish from L'ghoul.

The big letdown was, yet again, Bernard Mensah. What on earth has happened to him? Until very recently a very well respected attacker at this level - I don't know what Bristol Rovers have done to him, but he looks lazy and limited when he does get the ball, and didn't deserve 90 minutes today.

While chasing the game we had six defenders on the pitch, which gives you some idea how imbalanced the squad is. Our defensive organisation helped us to a solid start, but now injuries have started to bite we're struggling with no cover and no real quality up top.

You can only lose it from here.

Obvious after watching that BT Documentary that Smith is a proper manager who runs the absolute show there.

Got what we deserved tonight, ie. Fuck all. We have such crap quality all over the pitch just can’t see how we stay up without major changes. That said, Yeovil are the best side I’ve seen down here in the last two years, certainly better than Orient last year. Now they’ve found their feet at this level, I fully expect them to go on and piss this shite league.

Happy with our performance today, and 3-1 is a good reflection of the game. Chorley were okay but obvious limitations - Naughty Naughty was their best player - and it felt like we didn't really reach top gear.
Would fancy us to beat Maidenhead at home on Saturday.

We obviously put up with a lot of hi-jinks from you, but honestly please uninstall that tweet generator programme you have for the demented orange fascist, it’s somehow made you even less funny.

We know that far to well, this was us less than 2 years ago.....we nearly ended up relegated that season :ffs:

Happy with an away win which we sounded, well from the opening 10 minutes until the last 10 to be comfortable.

Great Osborne got his start and a goal too!
First time in the clubs history we are in the top half of the NL! Open top Nissan Micra here we come!

Fascists come in all shapes and sizes and a particularly pernicious type is the snowflake variety, so in the spirit of fighting fascism, it's a no from me. :ds:

The 6th away win this season completed at Maidenhead tonight , although it would be nice to win again at home, a comfortable 3 points this evening in a game that claimed 3 class goals , cruised the first half but only hit the net just the once, Second half seem to be OK then they scored a cracker of a free kick, that had us back peddling for about 10 minutes before Nizzzzzzzzzzzzam scored his first goal for us with a beauty to restore the one goal lead, nice to see we can get some more names on the score sheet, and some of the walking wounded returning On to ALLEY FAX next

Fairly routine win tonight, still feel there’s a lot more to come from us but happy enough to be bouncing along and picking up the odd win while we’ve got so many injuries.
