Hard to comprehend how half-arsed Danny Rowe is nowadays! Not sure he broke into a run all day, and struggled to muster up the energy to shoot.

Disappointed by some dodgy reffereeing today, but pleased with the way we took the game to Fylde after going down to 10 men. Need to see the incident again, because both of Kay's bookings seemed debatable.

Strange league this, one minute we haven't won in 5, now we are unbeaten in 5 winning the last two and scoring 7.
First clean sheet since October too. With it being a local derby I would have thought it would have been 4-4 or something. Nice to see the two subs actually starting and scoring.
Solihull next, which should have been the local one!

Reformed Halifax love a good hammering don't they. Remember when the whole league made it too easy for them for a couple of months?

It was a cracker Jared

Absolute chicken dipper of a volley. World class.

We didn't turn up today, threatened from a couple of set pieces that's about it. Worst performance of the season.

Y'know, during our holocaust years, suffering five relegations in eleven seasons, I had a keen sense of when opposition fans would place undue attention on their own team for battering County when in reality it was all down to our players, all the opponents had to do was turn up.

And that's what today reminded me of. County played some good stuff, sure, but we were allowed to by a Halifax side I can only describe as abysmal. Not to take anything away from our lads - Osborne is in superb form right now, Bell had his best performance for a while, everyone had a great game... but they were allowed to. Whatever complaints the Halifax fans are about to come up with are fully justified. My only complaint is we didn't make it into positive goal difference.

No complaints here, getting smashed by Notts one week and Stockport the next, feels like we're back in the League already. :woot:

Well, we are gone, what an appalling display today against a team who at best can only be described as bang average, the bloody Manager says the players let him down, I have news for him the people really let down were those that travelled to Wrexham and paid admission to watch this shit! Bloody Holroyd couldn't even put a penalty away, what a bag of shite.

Fully convinced Taylor will take us down, we have nothing in attack and can’t rely on scoring one to win games. Giving Bromley and Ebbsfleet a miss as I can’t stomach it anymore than I need too.

Couldn’t agree more. You played ok but we were abysmal. Probably should have been more

And we let Massanka score against us. Dire.

Holroyd has never struck a ball cleanly in his life.

Is it wrong I'm actually dissapointed that B2 didn't take the bait from VM. I have secretly wanted a big cafuffle between them two.

Fucking shite us man.

Bit more clarification, I think Challinor is an excellent manager who is absolutely hamstrung with abysmal, half hearted players who just don't give a fuck and he's stuck with them, bar two or three the rest just aren't up to it.

I've said it before, but Killip in goal is fucking useless and the defenders in front of him are miserable, 930 fans today were served up an utter piss performance, the players can all get fucked, hopefully there's three/four (whatever's going down) worse teams than us again this season cos we are pathetic.

Fair play sir, it’s a good job I did avoid it! Yeovil smashed Torquay as expected.
We really should have won. Saw the 95th minute equaliser coming a mile off but that’s just typical us

Totally agree, Challinor needs time. He knows the state of it and he’s trying to get people in. Big mistake not keeping Loach which we called at the time, except for Kioso the whole defence are woeful and there’s nobody taking responsibility amongst any of the players. I wouldn’t complain if we kept only 4 or 5 of them next season and just got a team of non league shithouses to bully our way up the league.

For the sake of the forum I'm glad he didn't. Tbh that was his only way out after getting so giddy earlier this season and metaphorically jizzing in his pants over the reformed Halifax's league position. Following the recent sharp decline and return to type, he had no other option than to :sur: it's been great to observe.

Me and VM get along just fine thanks, he's one of only a handful here who get my humour. :box:

Do you know what was heart warming yesterday?

The look on the Halifax fans' players, fans and member of staff as they entered the Edgeley Arena. "We've made it" was the look. Camera phones out taking pictures of the Cheadle End. Apparently most teams do it when they come here.

Don't make me laugh! We play at THE SHAY. Sure, the big stand behind the goal is impressive, but Tranmere's is moreso. The open stand behind the other goal is a MAJOR let-down. I'd expect a club with a Football League history to have covered stands on all 4 sides these days, I mean Yeovil had an open end too, but they're not really a Football League club. In some regards, your ground reminded me more of Woking than anywhere else. Sorry, but YOU started it. :fl:

Our home end was uncovered until 2000 and even then the supporters had to raise the money for the roof as the club couldn't (wouldn't?) pay for one. Buggered if we're going to pay for other fans to stay dry.
