We only won, we win our fist game since the first week of the season, and guess what we deserved it as well, 2-0 should have been more but will settle for that
may have found a team that are worse than us

Hope Dover keep winning. Can't be losing any members of the Kent Coalition; the bulwark against the so-called brotherhood. There's a good chance of Welling making it five members next season.

Wish there was a way of relegating all the Kent sides to the Conference South (including Gillingham) along with Maidenhead, Braintree & Eastleigh.

Does that mean you've resigned yourself to never winning promotion?

Welling in Kent?! No chance, South East London ;)

QUOTE="Urban, post: 837242, member: 295"]Worst performance of the season, way worse than any of the dross served up when we had about 4 1/2 fit players. Genuinely terrible - absolutely tonked at home by a Maidstone team who are probably sill wondering if today was all a dream - that’s how easy it was for them. The fact that our fans were chanting for Sweeney to come on says it all. Just an awful day.

Hats off to Maidstone away support today - done their team proud.

I think today was one step closer to Barnet FC dying. Give it 3/4 years and we won’t exist.

Our new manager has rebuilt most of the team in the last few weeks, while imposing a new system and fitness levels. Hasn't always worked, but this result was coming sooner or later. There is a real optimism about the place now. Just hope opponents keep underestimating us based on our league position.[/QUOTE]

With respect to you guys, you came here with the intention of frustrating us and nicking a point, but we were so ineffective in possession that we made it very easy for you to counter. I think any team in this league bar Maidenhead beats us on today's performance.

Seems Maidenhead have imploded in the last few weeks. Devonshire on thin ice?

I cannot see him being sacked as the chairman is pretty relaxed, views us as lucky to be in this league and has no real ambition to take us any higher than we are.

However, Devonshire has lost the plot tactically. I was shocked that he made no signings this week after 13 goals conceded in two games. He's too conservative with his attacking picks - he won't use any of our lively wingers and is still trying to convince himself that Ryan Bird will come good when it's clear that he's a carthorse who has no business playing at this level. We've also had only 2 CBs all season, the #6 is still vacant having been left empty and one of our CBs is the comically bad Obileye. I suspect that Devonshire might be trying to make a point to the chairman with some of his team selections, as the chairman is known to be pretty tight, but something is going to have to give soon.

The moment you concede in the 97th minute when you think you’ve ended a FIFTEEN game run without a win.

Excellent
Bloody hell, didn't realise they were getting so close to equalling our run last season, when we had 17 consecutive league games without a win

I don't think my arse is, but I will worry about that on the day - We have to lose away from home at some point!
If we win the next 2 it'll be a big crowd too. I can't see us winning at Maidstone though as we rarely win on those horrible plastic pitches.

Wasn’t what I expected front Hartlepool at all.
They reminded me of Barrow during the first half with lots of possesion and zero scoring threat. We really should have been 2-0 up as missed a free header at the back stick, just after we scored the first.
Once we got the second Hartlepool capitulated and how many was going in was anyone’s guess, we could have scored five in that second half.
We held our shape well, defended soundly and had a few that put in really good performances.
Great result.

That strange Chesterfield fella Smith was at it again I notice, doing the old 'quieten down' hand signal again. This time to Harrogate fans, who weren't even doing anything. Ran off like he'd scored the last minute winner in the World Cup Final too. Tinpot.

First Orient goal is a foul and a handball as well. Unbelievable refereeing not to give either considering they are usually under orders to successfully ref tinpotters through matches.

Shows how tinpot Fylde are that they didn't even appeal for anything. A Proper Club goes absolutely berserk there surrounding the referee.

It's a Brother though so it's all fine.

Indeed. Amusing to see how terrified the best defence in the division was for both of Koroma’s goals, though. Utterly shit themselves.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. The lad's got a weird obsession with opposition supporters.

Harrogate "fans", if we can call them that, are too posh to do football, they just stand around in green wellies and Barbour raincoats as though they're queuing for a buttered scone and a cream tea in Betty's Tea Shop. You can't imagine them "losing it" like proper fans do over anything as "common" as a goal. :£:ds:

This would be the same rubbish Harrogate “fans” that are averaging bigger home gates than plucky newcomers FC Halifax Town?

Last week a Chesterfield player ran and celebrated on his own at Sutton getting all giddy.

This week, Harrogate have 4 or 5 players who run straight over to the Chesterfield fans!

25? Fuck off, If we were having the season they're having, and they were having ours, we'd be a 1000 a week clear of them! :fl:

Yeah, with a fair wind you might even be competing with Sutton and Maidstone on the attendance front.
