It’s bad enough for games involving 500 mile round trips to be scheduled for bank holidays without tin pit little clubs like Dover calling them off at the last minute with hundreds of fans either arrived or on the way. One Of our fans has even spent the last 6 days walking there for charity . Our chairman, the ex chairman of the FA, is writing to the FA to complain and I don’t say I blame him. Absolutely disgraceful.

perhaps you are right, rain only started about 11 & has been harder than 1st forecast

thing about resting players is irrelevant, the game will still have to be played 2 days after a saturday one.

This is only because Dover wanted to be heroes and attention seekers a few weeks back in getting their game on, absolutely wrecking the pitch in the process of getting snow off it.

It didn't snow on the pitch before the Orient game - it was covered & then the temp went up to 5deg & we've played another home game since then.
Perhaps we should have postponed both games just to enable the biggest club in the league to have their match on today?
Welling v Bath has just been called off at 2.55
