I honestly don't know how we lost today, we were by far the better side in the second half as Bromley decided to sit in against ten men and rode their luck.

Infact, thats as well as I've ever seen us play with ten men.

Having said that Ben Chorley played well for them, Bonne missed two sitters and Joe Widdowsons awful back pass cost us a man.

Good first half, started the second half poorly but the red card woke us up a bit and we defended well after that. Deserved win. It will have taken a lot out of our small squad going into the Halifax game though.

It all kicked off between our fans and Sutton's bench at full time. Punches thrown from both sides, plus a lighter thrown at the ref during the game. We'll get a fine for that.

Should be points deducted.

Guiseley did ok up until we scored, but from there on they capitulated. We seemed to have really clicked in the last half a dozen games, just hoping we can keep it up and haven't peaked too soon. Really looking forward to a trip to Fylde now (don't think that's ever been said before).

Take an umbrella, the stand roofs are just for decoration. If it rains you'll get pissed through.

Yes I'm going to say it, that should now be us safe.

Yep, and considering I'm not sure I can cope with another 4 months of tense games like that I suggest we sell everyone to Wrexham and save the money for next year.

Sutton were having a competition with Bromley as to who could be the biggest set of cheats we've played this season.

While not as persistent in his diving as Porter for Bromley, Eastmond today definitely produced the most acrobatic display of simulation this season with his swan dive.

Everything written about Lafayette was blatantly evident today.

Not sure what the point of Sutton having a 3G pitch is either if all they ever do if hoof as far as possible at every opportunity. Even when 30/40 yards from goal they're looking to loop it forward still!

Maidenhead 1-2 AFC Fylde

A deserved loss after we rode our luck heavily. Fylde's defender should have been sent off for his cynical foul on Emmanuel for the penalty.

Some uncharacteristically poor subs from Devonshire today, bringing on right winger Mulley to play on the left while left winger Pritchard stayed on the right, and also taking off Emmanuel when Marks was having an off day.

I still don’t think we’ll win the league, but surely even Macc can’t bottle a play off finish this time?!

I've only seen us struggle against Guiseley before, so it was nice to finally get a decent win against them!

Our home form is good, but our away form is still mediocre. I'm hoping we can start that particular turnaround on Monday. The away end is sold out, should be a good atmosphere. Can't wait :)

Deserved 3 points for us. We weren’t great but we were the better side. Really looking forward to the tranmere game at our place. Also going to back us at just over 2/1. Finley sent off again tho the clown, needs to cut this out

Should have been a straight red for both tackles.

Thanks steve. We would have lost that if it was played in the autumn, guiseley need a creative midfielder desperately, your jolly green giants at the back defend well cannot judge your strikers as your midfield struggled .
Hatfield, Wesolowski and Rooney all out at the moment. I've not seen anything from Hughes yet to indicate why Cox brought him in.

Dover athletic
Direr game throughout as Halifax packed out their defence and offered little going forwards apart from a Windmill, who excessive use of his hands and elbows was ignored by another poor referee, Dover huffed and puffed but failed to break down a Solid well organised Halifax defence, who came for a point , and went home with a point, Pumping high balls to their back six didn't work so Dover turned to Plan B , which in reality is Plan A ,

Halifax were denied a stone wall pen, but as I said. dire incompetent referee, Claims from Dover, both players and fans that the ball crossed the line direct from a corner late on were again ignored by said referee, and a not very well placed Lino.

Idiot of the day must go to their player who was sent off, First he get books for a bad foul on GG fro a yellow , that could have been a red, the minutes later flattens another Dover player 10 yards in front of the Ref another yellow , that could have been a straight Red
As for that No 9 , never seen a player use his elbow and hands as much has he did , totally ignored again by said ref, some were saying it was to get out of Manny's pocket , but his did pick up a yellow, if he spent as much time and effort playing the game , than trying to injure all around him , then Halifax may have taken all 3 points Next up Maidstone....

Probably Paul Tosswell throwing a strop after losing like he did at Woking.

Apparently was their 70 year old Kitman giving it the big un, spraying water bottles over fans and then stuck his chin out and dared a Macc old boy to stick one on him - so he did!!

And Nicky Bailey apparently called a young mascot a c***!

Oh and Collins offering the fans outside for a fight!

Nicky Bailey was always a wind up merchant. Carlisle fans hated him for about 10 years

Great to see full-time Guiseley finally being punished for WHAT THEY DID.

Does WHAT THEY DID include faking head injuries in the last minute when Woking had the ball in their box?

Dagnum slightly the better side today, but for all the possession, didn't create much.

I'l take the draw.

They did that at our place yesterday guiseleys 8 foot high player fell like a 2 year old when touched then sprang up like hed been touched by jesus once play was stopped.

He was so injured that he contested the drop ball that resulted from the break of play. ( lucky norburn plays for us now) .

Surely he should have been ordered to leave the field?

Played three of the current top four away in the last set of games and picked up four points. Played most of the current top ten away. We played yesterday with four full backs due to injury so playing for a point at Dover was a solid and well executed plan.

The morons shouting for Heath to go have shut up again (for now) this season which is a welcome silence too.

I'm not one of those that seems to think we are odds on favourites to beat Macc on NYD, Clarke will be a big miss on current form and i fear his abscence will open the door for Oliver to return. I would say that on home soil we've got a better than 50/50 chance. If only we could get Kosylo back to give them something to think about on the other side but suspect it will be a game too soon.

Tin Pot habits die hard. When we were in the real pub leagues, which is Guisly's natural level, we used to get 2 or 3 of them pretending to be injured, SIMULTANEOUSLY, every week, at The Shay. They would lie absolutely motionless until the referee had no choice but to stop the game for fear they were actually dead. It was as cravenly pathetic as it was infuriating. We knew, they knew and hell even the ref knew there was nothing wrong with them and everyone knew the reasons why they were doing it. :bdick:
