Just waiting for the customary implosion, we can't this time, surely not?

FFS we’ve now conceded a hat-trick to a fucking centre half. Three goals conceded all from set pieces, about time Waddock earned his pay and sorted out our bastard useless fucking ‘defence’.

Time to let expelled brotherhood club Chesterfield back into the fold? 2-0 up at home to The Evil surely has got to mean something. Anyway, I say aye but I believe only Master D, the Bro president, has got the power to decide on such matters.

Team on a winless run + game on TV + manager of the month just won + no defeats on the road all season - You knew it was never going to fall our way.

Today we were punished for an awful start, BW scored with their first attack and to be honest we were lucky it wasn't more. Took us 30mins to get started.

Second half it was all us, BW ran out of steam but they kept their shape and defended well. On another day a few of the chances we created would've gone in. We just paid for such a sluggish start, BW were more fired up than we were.

Sam Lings fitness is being gambled on right now, last week we got away with it and today we didn't. Dayton and Gorman both going off injured is frustrating, but now maybe JE can freshen us up a bit - Need to rest players next week in the trophy as the 5 league games afterwards are more important.

Also well done to brothers Chesterfield and Hartlepool on finally winning again.

Our next game against Chesterfield in two weeks could now go either way..............

Huge win.

Now that wasn’t expected at all!
We’ve scored a decent amount, we’ve conceded a horrific amount....
...hmm...
...I know...
Let’s sign three forward minded players in a week and fail to strengthen or play our best available back line over and over.

Should have been 5-0 Gateshead!

Congrats Chesterfield getting that long awaited win! Couldn’t think of better side to do it against as well.
Keep it as a one off please. We’re scarily close to the drop zone.

A very good win as well, Eastleigh aren't an easy side to play against and have been on a good run.

Not a bad day all in all for the Brotherhood. And a lot of the EVIL sides lost/drew as well.

We actually won :woot:

We only ever win against 10 men, never in doubt.

We’re fucked, driving headlong into the abyss and the brakes have failed. Picked up 2 more injuries today as well as only 3 on the bench so looks like we will absolutely scratching around for players next week.

Scrapped to a 1-0 over Maidstone in the wind, but could and should have been more comfortable.

Worner on his debut had a stunning first half but made a huge error for the goal and really struggled after that. He'll get the stick but it would have been over in the first 45 if it wasn't for him. New Maidstone striker from Billericay looked a bang average midget whose came is based around chucking himself to the floor.

Our man got sent off for fouling as the last man and put the result in doubt, but we had some great performances out there in terrible conditions. Our loan striker Tyler Smith is up there with the best in non-league, but his deal is up in January - can see him heading to League 2, which will be us knackered.

Danny Kedwell carries a lot of extra timber doesn’t he?? Obvious that he’d then score against us.

Both teams were absolutely dog shit. Less surprising from us but more so from Ebbsfleet with the quality players they have at their disposal.

Bet we've bust some coupons today with that. I don't quite know what to do with myself, it seems right weird to have actually won a game.

I’m seriously worried now. We’re sleepwalking into a relegation dogfight. If our manager was anyone but Waddock, he’d have gone by now.

I would argue that we have a bigger budget and arguably a stronger squad than Ebbsfleet.

That winless run at the start of the season was genius from Still, it's brainwashed us into thinking that anything better than 21st is a successful season.

We may have played 3 games more, but it's beautiful to see us above Barnet after Still did a runner in the summer.

Maidenhead v Hartlepool was a dire game between a very poor team and a poor one. Devonshire seems to think that ramming the starting XI with defenders is a substitute for having an organised defence and a competent keeper. It isn't. I don't think he's got a prayer of keeping us up anymore - we look miles off - but I'm pretty sure his job is safe, the setup is pretty cosy here.

On about a fifth of the budget as well.

Still has "stabilised" and "consolidated" things apparently so it's all good though.

Adams, Cheek, Weston, Whitley, Ashmore and even arguably Kedwell (simply because we have no one of his mould) would all walk into our best-XI.

Didn't sound like a classic but when you've lost 7 in a row you'll take anything!

They certainly walk into our current XI, but Still's team selections are dire.

Could'nt make the game today, just as well. Watching the Shots away is often a depressing experience, and has now become deeply embarrassing. We are now desperately short of players- even before today's injuries, we had only 3 on the bench, 2 of which were unfit. At least we have loaned in a striker with a bit of bulk, but our defence is pathetic .We will soon be down among the dead men. Merry Christmas....

Disgusting that, now need Brother Chesterfield to take to the battlefield. Do NOT roll over for The Evil™.
I felt dirty cheering the wood on to victory, but you've got to get dirty if you want to succeed in this league.
