Certainly a different approach from a manager. He's brutally honest which Is both commendable and bloody stupid at times. If you can't offload those players the situation becomes very awkward.

You've got enough goals in Murphy he's almost a guarentee of goals at this level.
He really isn't. When things aren't going well he disappears.

I was going to say ignore him. It's a brilliant feature. Watching Grimsby fans and indeed every other fan rip him a new one every day without having to see what he has to say is a fantastic read
He still quotes you on a daily basis too despite him knowing you have him on ignore.
Then his reply to this will be something along the lines of that he’s quoting you but not actually talking to you.

Garbage result for us, and Rowe needs to stop thinking we’ve got Man City’s squad rotating 4 or 5 players a game and get a settled XI with 1 or 2 changes MAX from game to game. When are we going to see a midfield of Khan and Oyeleke for Christ sake!! It’s what the people want… GIVE IT US JAMES!!! I guess a point on the road when you’ve played crap ain’t the end of the world, but Dover are just a complete shambles so it’s hard to see it like that. Becoming a bit of a bogey side for us now Dover are, think we’ve played 6 times, drawn 5 and lost 1… I liked it better when they gave up and stopped playing!

But hey could be worse… could be Stockport!

Aldershot (and Boreham Wood, apparently )
Appalling, Murphy misses a sitter after 90 seconds and then we just lay down and let Halifax shaft us. As many of us said very reminiscent of last season where we let the opposition start to dictate and as soon as they did nobody looked bothered, nobody wanted to compete, everything looked too difficult.

3-1 flattered us, Halifax should have had 3 or 4 before halftime. They were everything I want to see in the shitshow I'm still, for some reason known only to myself, supporting. They cared, they were willing runners, they battled, they tackled. For us it wasn't welcome to non league, it was fucking groundhog day.
If you lose Tuesday you really will have cause to worry. …:bl:

Poor result for Notts in the scheme of things, one win from four if your glass is half empty, unbeaten and right up there if your glass is half full.
Either way anything other than a win on Tuesday against Wealdstone will have us below the 2pts per game needed for promotion.
Love a night match, been way too long since the last one.

Still up. My bairns coming round and we are off to watch Leeds v Liverpool. The bairn supports York City so its relevant. He enjoys the gs as well.
Favourite players are Scott Kerr and Paddy McLaughlin.

Rusk is a dead man walking.

Not got much support from many of the fans.

People will say it's too early but the style of play was the same last year.

Get him out of his misery.

We are going to be a funny team this season. Going to be fantastic football and decent passing one week. Then a shit show with the manager getting sent off the next (incidentally I assumed he would get a touchline ban after last week yet there he was sat on his bucket in the dugout)

I think we can rule relegation out this season just see if we are consistent enough to push near the play offs.

As for Southend. As I said earlier in this thread if your going to let us (the holders of the shitest set pieces in the league score 2 goals from them you mustn't be great.

There was a real lack of fight from your boys. Do you think it's a case of playing the manager out or are you genuinely that bad?
I think he's covered just about every possible eventuality there. At least he'll be able to claim he was "right" at the end of the season though. :ffs:

Yeah he has to go. Not trying to take the piss like but spend that money and be that poor he has to get the bullet. Looks like you need a striker from the outside. How’s croasdale performed? The little rat

Was your red card a straight red? Will you be without Parmer next weekend?

Rhys Murphy is a right maungy prick when things don't go his way

And look, look at this, what did it tell you, he's mutated into a fucking rash this week! We won, you see.

Excellent win against a tough physical Woking. Referee lost the plot second half which didnt help the game.
We continue our unbeaten run but things dont get easier with us playing grimsby Daggers and stockport next 3 games.
We have scored in every game so far and looking tight at the back so we are getting there

Stones v Alty saw two fairly toothless teams, playing some decent football but neither looking likely to score. Stones were building a head of steam before a challenge from behind by Connor Kirby saw him getting a very nasty leg break. Ambulance took well over a hour to arrive after he was taken from the pitch. Game held up for 13 minutes. We scored a penalty for hand ball in the 10th minute of injury time.

Decent away fans were Alty, proper non leaguers. Hope Kirby recovers as quickly as he can.

Jack Cook won man of the match for what seems the tenth consecutive game this season.

He’s too slow and immobile in a midfield alongside Rooney - his passing under pressure is nowhere near good enough either but he’s down the list of problems at the moment which says it all.

Double leg break of the tibia and fibula, plus an open fracture too hence the immediate reaction of both sets of players. Hopefully we can do a bucket collection next Saturday to help offset some costs in his recovery.

As for the game, we both agreed after the game that the injury and delay stopped our momentum in our tracks. Alty pressed really high but it wasn’t too difficult to bypass it and both sides were picking up second balls in the midfield when going direct on the odd occasion.

Alty fans will probably feel they shaded the game, most Stones fans (myself included) will feel that we shaded the game and a true neutral would likely say that it was a 50/50 game. Absolutely no doubt about their red card, clear as day.

Cook was excellent but the midfield duo of Ashley Charles and Charlie Cooper put a proper shift in yesterday.

Onto Notts, unbeaten in 3.

What’s happened to the your lot? Looks like a tough season.
Either the board have slashed the budget significantly or Danny Searle has blown a mid table budget, not sure which one it is. Got a group of players that work hard but where all apart from 5 or 6 are NLS standard to be honest. Of the players we signed this summer only Lokko really has experience at this level

And you know that because I've told you and because it's exactly what I'm doing.
So these posts are not speaking directly to the other 2 Halifax posters who have you on ignore TheShayWay or AJS are they not?
Because it sure looks that way to me.

:ffs: Thanks coach, I'll pass your analysis on to Pete, he always appreciates advice from a better qualified coa...... wait, what badges have you got again?
Why can't anyone deny we were crap last week? Because we lost? And you say so?

Yeah, you're right for once, my arse is in a right state. These guys are so much smarter than me.

If I know they have me on ignore then obviously they're not addressed to them are they. It's what I would say to them if they didn't have me on ignore. Christ, it's not rocket science, why is this so difficult for you to grasp. Much as I'm flattered by your attention, your obsession with me is rather tiresome now, I'm not wasting anymore time on this you thick twat, I don't owe you an explanation. :ffs:
