You may be less appreciate if they're trying to waste time and he punts the ball into the stands like he did on Saturday the weirdo.
Yeah, he steadied the ship and shored us up defensively. Nothing going forward and we were powder puff up front during his tenure. He also had an embargo to deal with too.

So expecting them to be tough to break down, even at home. Will be difficult for us I feel if we ship the first goal. Just hope the floodlights hold out!!

Weymouth away after there great point at Boreham with a new manager in charge and us after our awful showing against Stockport, we don’t draw many but I feel this could be one of them. Was actually meant to be going with 4 others in a car but we’ve all decided jog it on.
You'd been going well until Saturday, so I don't think losing 0-2 to a very good Stockport side is anything other than a blip. I might have agreed with you about the draw, but the loss of our most creative player, Mussa, definitely tilts the odds towards you. A close game perhaps, but a win for Daggers all the same, I'm afraid.

Sounds like we have our first choice keeper back for tomorrow but no Slew.

Lots of other ifs and buts. With Green having a scan on an injury today and Spence maybe out with a tight hamstring.

We have enough players to play though apparently and covid tests come back negative. Be a big win for us if we can get one given the circumstances

Wild is hoping for a new signing before the game aswell.

Proper old Div.4 fixture at the Rec tomorrow, 2 fallen giants scrapping for survival points. Don’t know where the goals are gonna come from, so reckon we’ll be losing this ( and arranging for the floodlights to fail a̶g̶a̶i̶n̶ )
Bloody hell, that would be fun….
I quite enjoy that the floodlights game still gets spoken about. Do we still get called the Thames Estuary Galacticos as well?

As for Molesley chat earlier between other Shrimpers, Molesley's xG for Southend from when the embargo was lifted had us about 10th in the table (over quite a big sample - 20 games or so). We were just too shit at scoring goals. When we needed fresh strikers, nobody wanted to join, and the ones we had were terrible or had totally lost confidence. It certainly wasn't his fault that we got relegated - that blame is all at Ron Martin's door.

Can see it now, we are 1-0 up with 10 mins left. JMD scores a worldie to make it 1-1 then in injury time up comes Pearson and bangs a bullet header to take the 3 points to Grimsby

You've got nothing to worry about, Mr Magrew is out injured tomorrow.

Not being able to be there on Saturday, and not having the inside track as I did once upon a time, I'm only going by what I've heard, which was that he got a knock, and went down having difficulty breathing, but he was eventually able to leave the pitch under his own steam. Nothing official from the club as to how he is, or when he might be able to return, so we're pretty much in the dark. He's a talent, no doubt, but very raw still, and would probably benefit from playing in a better team whose players are more on his wavelength, but I have to say he seems a bit fragile and never quite fully fit.

Not confident at all for this one. Green and Spence injury doubts who have both been immense in midfield for us this season. Add in several members of the squad dealing with illness over the weekend, it doesn’t bode well.

Hopefully the illness passes and we can get in this signing that is imminent in time. We need all the numbers we can get at the minute.

Allegedly this phenomenon only occurs at home, they've only picked up 5 points away from home all season... it would be the ultimate Devonshiring I suppose
And 3 of those were the first game of the season at Halifax

Biggest question tomorrow night is will the 2 Shaymen superfans, Shayshite and AJS finally show up at a game? Gotta feeling they may already have gotten their orders to report for "work" Tuesday night, you know, sick colleague, annual leave, Covid, who knows what they'll come up with this time. And of course there's always that old stand-by "there's such a thing as living a life, you know"- lives are for the closed season chuck, for the real fans, their club IS their life.

Yep, you’re still the TEGs, we all know who you are. We had a good chuckle when you descended to the depths, but it’s no laughing matter really down here.
Hope at least it’s a good match.

Can't believe Wrexham have just spent a club record 300k and offered 5k a week in wages just to sign an ex Grimsby player to make sure he scores against us tomorrow night.

This is all I ask for. I'm still averaging 5 goals a game over every match I've seen this season so some goals wouldn't go amiss in this one after the 0-1 at Weymouth.

Think I'm with Shrimpurh in not clapping or booing Molesley, yes he had his hands and legs tied behind his back here but his utterly baffling decisions in the new year took us from possibly escaping relegation to doomed, he was part of the problem, albeit only 10% or so.

Radio Humberside for me: 11:45 Kick-Off in California. I don't think I'm going to enjoy my listening though.

We are due an away win, so who knows?

It should be a routine victory for us tonight. Although these are the games Notts tend to struggle in historically.

I won’t be listening or going, too many hours wasted recently on this junk.

That does however mean we’ll probably go and win. JMD being out is a big shame given the positive impact he’s had, that’ll mean Sousa likely starts and never before has the phrase ‘all fart and no shit’ applied so well to a player.

One things for sure, Paul Hurst is guaranteed a job no matter what happens this season, what a position for him to be in whilst the rest of us suffer.
