If it wasn't for the fact that I refuse to leave games early i'd be home by now.

This is an utter disgrace - anyone finishing below us this season needs demoting 3 or 4 divisions
Why would you not leave? Out of interest.

Aldershot are being punished for WHAT THEY DID.

Kings Lynn then Wealdstone coming up. Mullin back for KL.... we need to go on a run and catch up a bit.
Finally a decent run playing some relegation fodder and we can catch up to the playoffs. Parkinson still needs another 2 wins from those to keep off the pressure.

Hes actually bald he just paints it on with a bit of black gloss.

The best thing about when we play Kings Lynn is Cleeve going mental on Twitter.

Are Shots fans happy with Molesley? Is it seen as a long term project that, even if they go down, he will be the right person to rebuild them?

‘Hi, is that central casting? We’re making a deeply shit football drama with wholly unrealistic action and laughable crowd scenes, and we’d like someone to play a dodgy chairman please. Something between Tory and someone you wouldn’t want looking after your kids, that‘d be great.‘

In my view he should be on thin ice, he's lost I think 8 out of 9 games and 7 of the 11 tonight were his signings, so the responsibility nownhas to sit on his shoulders. I'm not calling for him to be sacked in the morning but things need to improve significantly, and soon

I think it’s a fairly even split - he inherited the worst squad in the clubs history, but has had zero impact on results, we’ve actually probably (somehow) gone backwards since he came in.
It was definitely a head-over-heart appointment to try and get the fans back on side (I was guilty of thinking it was the right appointment) - the reality is we needed a Neil Smith, someone who’ll say it how it is and put together a proper national league squad.
We are sleepwalking to relegation, and wouldn’t surprise me if Molesley’s gone by the end of the month

Molseley has an abysmal record, maybe he just isn't very good?

Someone like Neil Smith who knows this league (and available players in the SE) would definitely be an improvement. Someone like Dean Keates (geography may not be on your side there) who will get a team organised and knows how to operate within a tight budget would also be better.

Sad to see Aldershot in such a shambolic state. A couple of years ago under Waddock you looked more likely to go up.

Yet again out of his depth. How many signings has he made from Bournemouth, that seems to be the only club in his contact book when he was with us.

Aldershot (and Boreham Wood, apparently )
Hand us the title.
Don’t get too excited, my (dead) cat could have scored tonight.
Seriously, once you saw how useless we were, you played your pass and move game well, pretty much like a training session. Thankfully Mullin and Hyde were absent or it could have been double figures.
I was more fearful about the Grimsby game coming up on Saturday, they play the sort of tactics that we always struggle with. I am in despair.

This result will mean nothing if we don't do something similar to Kings Lynn and Wealdstone and then go to Halifax with a bit of form and consistency.

I don't believe in leaving any game early regardless of the result / performance
I noticed a Southend fan liked this. I know a Southend fan who missed their team's promotion to League One in 2015(?) as they walked out of Wembley before their equaliser after the 30th minute of extra time of the play-off final. They went on to win on penalties.

I used to have the same attitude as you, and I am probably returning to that way of thinking, but watching Wrexham week-in-week-out as we got battered by teams like Sutton led to me walking out early on more than one occasion as the idea of a pint in the pub with a few mates seemed far more attractive to me than watching a group of footballers who were not playing for the shirt.

Dean Keates always had a decent budget to work with here. Despite that he left us dangling over the relegation spots before Covid came in. Not convinced he's the answers to Aldershot's prayers at the moment.

Much Better but we've got to remember it's 1 game, we haven't won 2 on the spin yet and it was a very very poor Aldershot team. I'd be shocked of they don't go down unless they have a big turn around.
Kings Lynn next so has to be a game we look to control and win comfortably otherwise its 1 step forward 2 steps back again

Stockport County.
I always leave early at home games if we're getting battered. I've paid my money and I never boo or whatever, just vote with my feet and got other things to do. I don't think I've ever missed anything exciting.
