Probably best if we dont turn up at Southport for the replay tomorrow Fylde or Spennymoor away is the reward. Rest up and go for it Saturday in the league game.

It makes our late equaliser against you seem all for nothing. The prize money on offer for getting through this round no longer seems worth the bother. Saturday now seems more like a cup tie than tomorrow does.

Totally agree both sides have lots of injuries, definitely didn't need this game, can see us sending a very young team tomorrow, it's not worth winning.

Once again Gloucester turn up and the team basically doesn't. Biggest gate in the entire FA cup so far (2,320) and we limped over the line against a side that literally don't even pay their players. Groves out
Stop moaning!

usually you normally do nick our players mid season if they do well.

maybe your issue presently has been ditching going with the better performing conf north players and moving to ex league.
By my reckoning you've had more players off us than we've had off you

Go on, it's only fair...

Yeah, we went long and tried to get the ball forward quickly. Completely abandoned our usual style.

I actually wish we'd do it a bit more often to be honest. We always end up playing in front of teams too much usually and struggle to break them down.
Must admit, thought that was your usual style, especially with Waring up there. Be interesting tonight then, which of us easy on the eye teams has the most cutting edge.

Waring isn't as good in the air as his size suggests, he's actually better with his feet. He's also our only forward in any sort of form, Dudley had covid bad and Stephenson hasn't impressed anybody so far.

Horrendous first half tonight not helped by a whistle happy ref but we took the game to Leamington in the second half and earned a deserved a three points in the end.

Bailey Hobson is going to go on to have some career. What a serious player he is.

Up to 10th!? Frigging hell. Cant see us staying there.

Good luck in the next round against Marske United. Their a fairly decent side on their home patch.

Cheers, I think it’s going to be tough, worried after what they did to South Shields.

Not much in it tonight and could have gone either way. Keepers were the best two players I thought (we gave ours MOTM). Decent second half when we both went for it.

Yeah they comfortably disposed of South Shields without any hiccups. They are another up and coming North East outfit on the rise with some good players, one I should mention is a striker called Adam Boyes who just scores for fun. He's just signed a new deal with the club until the end of the 2022/23 season.

Yes I've heard the game could have gone either way of the manager's post match reaction. Never mind just wasn't to be. We can concentrate on York now and show them we are improving.

Games again tomorrow are people hopeful?

BPA at home for Curzon and a rare weird situation where we go into game strong favourites and expected to win……usually we have to work other way around.

4 wins on the bounce, can a side thumped last week, should really be a win.

In my view we will start at Southport tomorrow with a side that has at least 2 who are NWC league standard and at least 2 more who are NPL standard with most of the bench kids who again need to play in NWC league sides. And the joke is Vermiglio keeps telling everyone we are good enough for the play offs!

Gateshead has never been a happy hunting ground for us. 2 seasons ago it basically cost Mike Cook his job. Then last season Rowe left in the morning of the Gateshead away game and we had 2 players mysteriously develop injuries who later signed for him... We have Dawson back from suspension and hopefully Mensah will play some part but still have Robert suspended and O'Sullivan and Jack James injured. So not a full team still but perhaps the strongest we've been able to name.. Cue another 9 nil defeat (and Groves will go if so)

Darlo v York tomorrow. Not the start to the season that either side would have hoped for or expected. But hopefully should be a decent game infront of a good crowd. Any guesses how many you'll bring York fans?

Fylde away, not confident after seeing their start to the season. Would be happy with a point.

Ditto for us, but we no longer have a youth team so haven't got any kids to fill the bench with!

We've brought in Jack Redshaw on loan. Happy with that, don't know if he's as effective as he once was but we needed something new up front, even before Stephenson's injury.

Just bought my ticket tonight according to your website we have sold 488 standing tickets and all seats plus can pay on day,
Cant wait for the joy of that bloody away end,not going to lie worst view in league.
Big game tomorrow seem to be picking up some form, but not played for 2 weeks thanks to Hereford calling match off due to covid, then on Monday had no cases but lots of injuries.
Got the luxury of 3 defenders tomorrow fit,No Newton or Barrow still will be back in 2 weeks.

Just reported a convenient positive Covid in the camp do todays game at Southport is off, now if I were a cynical soul I might thi k that having 5 or 6 out injured could have something to do with this! Perish the thought!

Given how stretched our squad is, I don't think there are any complaints from us either!

Sounded like a good turn out from York fans.

Wasn't at the game so can't comment on the sending off and penalty incidents till I've seen the highlights. But fair have seen people saying they spoke to Andy Collett at HT and Post Match and he was surprised to see a red.

Was always going to be a tough ask against a FT time side especially playing Saturday/Tuesday for the last couple of weeks, sounded like we had chances to draw level but similarly sounded like Donaldson should have atleast had his Hattrick. The re-arranged Telford game next Saturday now looks like a big one to try and build some momentum into our league season.
