Two big games tonight, not going to affect top spot or the relegation zone but in terms of the play off places is big.

Blackley vs kings lynn
Hereford vs scarboriugh

Lynn can go 2 points off top with a win but moreso defeat would leave them a point or so above chasing pack with them all having game in hand

Brackley can jump up to 5th with a win

Hereford can also jump up to 5th with a win

Scarborough another mid table side no where near this season due to close league can be 3 points off play offs with a win

Don't think results could have gone much better for us today. Very comfortable 2-0 and basically every team around us dropping points.

Big game on Thursday which has been moved to 1pm because the floodlights at Hereford have failed.

Chorley finally got back to winning ways though bottom placed Rushall did make it harder than it perhaps should have been. Good to see players finally returning to the side following a lengthy and difficult spell of injuries, hopefully over the worst of them now, need to consolidate with couple more good performances over Xmas/New Year.

I went to Leamington V Curzon Ashton yesterday and Curzon didn't look like a side who are competing for the title. When Mols scored to make it 2-1 I thought they would put Leamington under loads of pressure but it never really happened and Leamington scored a couple of late goals. 14 goals for Cally Stewart now in his first season at this level so would imagine he will be leaving by the end of the season at the latest.

Well we got our arses kicked last match fair play leanington there just got thumped.

Is something about that just before Christmas game Curzon totally suck at, hardly ever seen us win games between 5th December and Boxing Day.

Boxing Day is huge now, the ego has been bruised like it has for Scunny and like recently for Chorley.

What Curzon need to do now is opposite to them two clubs and bounce back, other two went on slumps we need to get back quickly to wins

Even more ridiculous if you look back into previous season although they drew a lot more.

Curzon lost back to back away games in December 2023, losing at Chorley on 23rd December last year.

Since then it’s 22 away league games, 13 wins, 8 draws and just the 1 defeat.

Add in 16 clean sheets in that last 22 away games. Don’t drastically remember any side with away form like that before.

The worry for Curzon is…….you really should be getting promotion with that away form
Almost identical to our away record from two seasons ago. W13 D9 L1. The one we lost was to Peterborough Sports, who also beat us at home. We finished 3rd and lost in the play-offs to Brackley.

2-1 Down at half time deserve that we got slack and sloppy in the later part of the first half after taking lead, Farley having a good go at times and got goals they deserve.

We have had more play and more chances as you’d expect with the league positions but a title winner is ruthless vs the poorer teams and we are not being that today

Unbelievable result for us today. Outclassed Hereford with 3 superb strikes, this first being a contender for GOTS.

Keeping an eye on the other results and hoping they come our way but right now we are flying bar one weird result against King's Lynn

A routine win over Warrington for us. They were the better side for 20 minutes, but we got more of a grip of the game after that, and in the second half we took our chances. I suspect Chester on NYD will be more of a challenge, even though they appear to have had a late wobble against Marine today
