Asante and dare I say it Oyeleke who seems to need nursing between games to try and ensure he is fit. I recall Port Vale fans saying we'd have one of the best midfielders in the division IF we could keep him fit.

Its true of Manny but that IF was really huge one as would be asking him do something he hasn’t really done before. Basically if you get more than 25 games out of him take it as a bonus. Really good player while he is available though.

As for the "tackle" Recks goes in strong but I'm failing to see how it's a red card he clearly gets there 1st hits the ball away and the Chesterfield then hits him and also Recks catches him as a result.

Just to clarify, just because you get the ball first it doesn't mean it's not a red card. Haven't seen this tackle in particular, just thought it's worth clearing that up.

Southend been stinking all year so you just know today is the day they’re going to turn up and put an actual performance in against us. I still think we should have too much for them and if we’re serious on doing anything this year we’ve gotta be putting these bottom half sides away..

Gutted about Carline’s injury given he’s been our most consistent player ever since he signed, but it now gives King a chance to really make that position his own for Atleast the next 5 months. My lineup would be:

I’m expecting a tough game at Woking but they are one of those teams that we always seem to find a way to beat, quite often in the last minute too so I’m hopeful of a win there by hook or by crook.

I know that, but in this case the contact between the 2 players comes from the Chesterfield player arriving later. I think its a decent 50/50 with both players going in strong. Personally I'd play on but if its a foul it's a foul against your lad

No-one was in control of the ball so it looked to me that it was a fair contest that just unfortunately left both players injured (both went in pretty strongly), rather than the assault that Rowe describes.
