Yeah Bromley were very average against us, I don’t think they’ve got enough to win the league.

Far too early for any realistic predictions anyway, let’s see who gets through the winter months first when the pitches at some of the sheds in this league turn to absolute shite
To be fair I could say the same about how average Grimsby were 11 days ago and they're top.

Third win on the spin for us but another terrible performance and Aldershot can feel very hard done by.

Pretty much everybody still wants Rusk gone but I reckon we’ll have to wait until Notts County and Bromley beat us back-to-back at the end of the month till he falls on his sword.

Second Saturday on the bounce I’ve had an NL acca come in - with the league taking shape i should imagine they bookies won’t be so generous with the odds going forward but knowledge gained on here has definitely helped win some pennies.
Just realised that we’ve got Barnet, Dover and potentially an FA Cup game in between the Bromley match.

Could be the middle of November by the time he departs.

Chesterfield fans class today. Stan collymore on bbc Essex callling out all the management to be sacked he isn’t wrong either as much as we need Ron out the likelihood of him going is minuscule. The management need to go immediately.

Gotta say that's harsh on Woking. Will write more in a bit but great home fans to be fair to them, even match that should have probably been a draw but fucking class from Harry Clifton to win it.
This is what my lad texted me, don’t think he realised they were probably joking:

It absolutely wasn't, they are a bunch of direct set piece merchants and we massively outclassed them all game. If other fancied teams have been losing to them it says more about the lack of quality in this league than it does about Woking.

You can’t say that, you’ll upset Martin Tyler.

It's got to happen today mate. You need someone who knows the level down here, it's not gonna get any better going into the winter. Going to the south would be killer

A bit of a dull, but most importantly professional performance from us today against a poor Weymouth. I see what people mean about Mussa. He’s very good, you can see he’s two steps ahead of everyone else in that team.

Hahaha, very cute that your lad is taking offence to us being told our support is shit on his first away game on his own. Tell him to get used to that! They packed their stands and it felt like a decent Football League away day. Got quite a bit of respect for them.

Yeah but if we can't out battle sides then we don't deserve it. It was a very hard fought match. They went through one on one twice in the second half and if they had more clinical attackers they've beaten us. I thought they made it very difficult for us, just like Maidenhead did. We missed a proper #9 today for sure as Taylor was off the pace and we had sniffs in the box that could have been pounced upon. Hunt and McAtee weren't as good as they have been either, several misweighted balls and lost tussles from both of them. Same with Fox. Towler and Waterfall were immense again though and they had to be. As was Clifton. We came through a test today, but to say we massively outclassed them is borderline ridiculous to me.

You have me a laugh at least. Love it. :fl:
Don't get me wrong you absolutely bossed us in the second half but without that rain on your plastic pitch and that wind behind two of your goals, it's probably a 1-1 draw at best for you. We were well on top in the first half. Your lad should have been sent off straight away for his foul on Sousa who was the best player on the pitch by a mile and causing you no end of problems. Laugh all you want, but you know I'm right.

What a massive result that is, great to be going into the break top with a couple of ‘kinder’ games coming up

Their one on ones were from narrow angles and not clear goalscoring chances. The only real chance they had came in the first half when we passed a corner to them and 30 seconds later had Tower clearing it off our line. If their number 9 was more clinical he'd have put it away. Was v obvious to see that many of our players are knackered after playing two games a week for the last fortnight and couldn't press as hard as we've done in earlier games. Still didn't matter since we controlled possession and only really had to worry when giving away silly set pieces in our own half. Should be able to rest a load of key players next weekend and then get back to firing on all cylinders against Yeovil.

Where were you stood/sat? They looked like decent chances to me. I was expecting the net to ripple both times, but maybe my vantage point at around the halfway mark wasn't great. Still, I think we can agree to disagree on this and enjoy the win!

Probably our best performance of the season, so to come away with nothing was pretty gutting.

Our own stupid fault though for yet again falling asleep from a set play right on half time. One day we'll learn!

Thought the Stockport keeper had an exceptional game, made at least 3 or 4 top quality saves

Right at the top of the big stand by the segregation netting and some bloke who spent the whole match giving it out on his own to the Woking supporters and claiming we're already champions
