So after all the moaning of only getting 800 tickets for the game at our place, Maidstone still have 120 left.
Sad to say our forum is full of BBB idiots & moaners :ffs:

Its embarrassing that after all the drama some of our fans have caused that we havent even sold our allocation

You probably will sell it, but the fact some were claiming you'd have well over a thousand blah blah. Pure bollocks.

With our allocation it was a bit different because it was ST holders only at first (we have around 250) and then there was like 50 or so left on 'general sale', so people just didn't bother as they didn't think they'd have a chance. So didn't sell out until the day before.

We never seem to do advanced sales too well!

I'm looking forward to it. Another win in the cup against Chelmsford tomorrow and there should hopefully be 3,000+ in attendance.

Home to Dartford. Two teams where supporters are fairly glum and their strikers can't score. Quietly expecting a goal-fest today (which hopefully we win).

Edit: Early October and both fixtures between Ebbsfleet and Maidstone will be played... and I thought our 2nd match vs. Ebbsfleet on Halloween was bad.

Meh. http://www.themaidstone.co.uk/index.html . <--- This. Looking forward to seeing the snatch squads in action though.

Always a good read. Fair play.

Tbf, it's the same situation as at your place. Police/security officers have advised the game be segregated.

Yes we could have given you more tickets, but 800 is enough. Have you sold them all yet? 130 left on Wednesday apparently.

I'm looking forward to the game. After the second half against Chelmsford, McMahon would have had the boys on the training ground Wednesday practicing on their finishing. Won't be a bumper crowd like Kent Online seem happy to constantly say, but should be over 2,000.

Off to the pub. Come on you reds!

Pretty laughable we will have also played Maidenhead twice by the end of October

I thought the Ryman League were bad with fixtures. The Conference are on a whole other level

We were scheduled to play Hemel twice last year within the space of 6 days (4th and 10th January). I've got used to it now...

Wealdstone 2-1 Dartford (Att: 665)

Hooray, a win. For the first time all season we've controlled a game, played some slick stuff and really should have seen off a poor Dartford side long before they scored with some 20 minutes spare.

Onto Brockenhurst. UTS!

A decent result against Gosport a draw 0-0 I'm sure Haylock is pleased with that...considering we could've dropped into the relegation zone today if St.Albans didn't get thumped 6-0 by Whitehawk and of course if we lost

Now to look for some wins Bishops Stortford for us next weekend

Surely Tony Burman must be under serious pressure at Dartford now even though he is part of the furniture there?

Major over reaction from Ebbsfleet & Kent Police today

Was no need for the game to be segregated let alone all the police & snatch squads......6 policeman & countless stewards in the Maidstone end for the 2nd half was a little over the top to say the least

Turning over the league leaders and champions elect on their own patch whilst surviving a wholly unwarranted and disproportionate police/steward presence?

Yep. Keep Burman in. Cracking job he's doing there!

We just went on what the local authorities said. I think segregation was needed personally, can't imagine the whole changing ends at half time would have worked...

We played poorly (first 20 or so excluded) and Maidstone deserved their win. Fair play. We were always going to play badly and lose at some point. We now have a week off to work on things. Two tough away games up next in Gosport and Chelmsford, I'd take a return of 4 points right now.

Still top and 6 points clear. Can't complain. 665 Maidstone in a crowd of 2,100 and something I believe. About what I expected.

Havant have put in a £10,000 bid for Justin Bennett. If that goes through, let it happen after Saturday. TIA.

From Gosport?

Only us that spends money. ;)

Gosport away for us on Saturday. Actually quite looking forward to it. Two week break for us - need to get back to winning ways. Fancy us to do it too, although it certainly won't be easy.

Real glamour friendly for us tonight away at Bearsted

Gonna bring back memories of our Kent County league days playing them on Bearsted green with a bit of rope around the ''pitch'' :bg:

Havant & Waterlooville 1-2 Wealdstone

Did not expect 3 points here so I'm very happy. First away game missed this season, goals from Bradley Hudson-Odoi and Jefferson Louis put us 2-0 up at the break.

Elliott Godfrey was sent off with 10 to spare and Havant pressure resulted in James Hayter pulling a late goal back.

Up to the dizzy heights of 16th now.

Hard fought win for us. Chelmsford away next week and a chance to rectify our cup exit to them. 8 points clear now.

Our good form continues with a narrow victory over an industrious Saint Albans side who despite all their hard work never really carried much of an attacking threat, probably no surprise given they are one of a select group to have scored less than the Stones.

Surely a question of how many points you win the league by? Should be out of sight by Christmas.

No chance pal. I don't like to be too expectant or put sides down.

I do think we will win the league, but I don't think we will have it all our own way.

I hear Nathan Ashmore could be off to Pompey. Fucking brilliant keeper.

Highlights from Saturday, both of our goals are at around 9:30 and 10:10. On a side note, Dale Binns' dance at the end of games really endears him to the supporters. I love it!

Possibly mate. I'm not sure. I only use the clubhouse for a pint at 3pm and half time.
If not then pop up the Edinburgh Castle, should be on up there. You owe me a Strongbow. Or Somersby, whatever they have in there now:)

Drew 0-0 at Chelmsford on Saturday. Didn't go but sounded like their keeper kept them in it. Our problem is, we're not clinical enough. They're becoming a bit of a bogey side for us this season, 3 games with 2 (0-0)draws and a loss to show from it. Ah well. We'll do 'em at home in April I hope.

Ta pal, there were meant to be a few of us going but those morons at IRB headquarters putting the RWC final at 4pm have scuppered that plan. If I see you I'll get you whatever cider is on draught, although it may be hard to find me amongst the 150 800 away supporters that will be there.

I'm fully expecting a defeat, especially given that Michael Corcoran will likely start in the centre of midfield. :surr:

I'll try and be quite active on this thread now i'm starting to take little interest into Weston-Super-Mare games. Whitehawk next, seems like they're good because they are 3rd in the league and we're in the relegation spots. Doesn't look like we'll win the match.
