Fantastic win City!

Sounded like we were worth our lead in the first half but it was very much backs to the wall in the second half. Ameobi seemed to make the difference and caused TAH problems. Feared the worst when Stead scored but after that we seemed to keep things pretty solid.

We also hit the woodwork twice so we still carried a threat on the break. Stockley really is a handful and to get 14 goals since September is superb.

Amazing win and we really are looking up again now. Get in.

Deserved a point probably in the end but could see us losing that as soon as I saw the team. With Tootle and Duffy injured we had a completely makeshift back four and were attempting to bed in three new central midfielders at the same time. Exeter exploited the lack of familiarity really well in the first half to be fair, their runs from midfield were really clever, but both goals had a large element of fortune to them.

Second half was attack vs defence and we probably did enough to force an equaliser, but we’ve done that so many times this season that we were always gonna come up short eventually. We’ve got to try and start games with the same intensity that we finish them.

Not sure getting the home record thing ended is necessarily a bad thing mind, stops people constantly talking about it.

Very happy with that. Stockley had a good game, unlucky not to score a worldy.

Notts very lucky that the ref bought ameobis theatrics for the pen.

We were overdue a home defeat, it might lift the burden of carrying the weight of the year long unbeaten run.
Wasn't there, so can't say with any conviction how we played but that we need a mobile striker with a bit of pace . We are missing Yates and today Tootle.
Worryingly over the last couple of months our form has been mid table. In the end we will get overtaken without someone who can take the pressure off Grant to score regularly.
Just two points clear of the playoffs now. Big game for us on Tuesday now.

Ok so Notts had a makeshift back line but so did we. No Troy Brown or Moore-Taylor who would definitely start. Plus no Luke Croll too. We had Moxey who’s a left back playing CB so that makes today’s win even sweeter.

Perhaps we did ride our luck a bit second half but that was always going to be the case as Notts had nothing to lose.

Delighted with the win.

We missed Duffy and Tootle massively. Hewitt got bullied by Stockley.

Husin looks a player. Indo think we are better as a direct side but you can tell Nolan is trying to get us playing a bit more. Ameobi looked unfit, we definitely need another striker

Funny how people see a game I didn't rate husin or noble at all. Thought we looked very lightweight and we're easily bullied.

Yep Stockley has been superb and really does give defenders problems, plus scores plenty.

I guess it’s only a matter of time before we get interest in him if he keeps on scoring. Luckily for us he signed a 3 year deal in September so we’d only let him go for major money.

Stockley has been a fantastic signing for us. Crazy how some of our fans don't appreciate him.

Great win for us. Wasn't there but sounded like a typical away performance we have put in many times over the past few seasons. Still operating with a makeshift back 4 so to have beaten both Coventry and Notts back to back only conceding the one (penalty) is pleasing. 10 day break now to hopefully get some players back fit.
