That looks like something you would see on a jockey at the Cheltenham Festival, all you need is the helmet cover to finish the job.

Not sure if we will be changing our kit next season, have had the present one for three or four years now with minimal changes, don't think the Club are obsessed with constant change in that respect. If we did, I would like to see us go for vertical stripes rather than horizontal, but keep them thick and not thin or different widths.

You lot are a Football League side now, so start acting like one! FL unwritten rules explicitly state that kits only have a lifespan of 10 months at the most, and clubs need to have at least 3 different kits - home, away and, erm, 'the change strip', in case of clashing colours and usually used only once or twice.

Not content with only the 3 kits, my lot decided to go for a 4th kit this year at Wycombe, the striped home shirt but with new amber shorts and socks. Our 3rd kit (that ugly luminous thing) was suitable enough for such a momentous occasion but no sir, we just had to have a 4th kit! :ffs:

We change our home and away kits every two years - with the home being on even years and away on odd years. This only changes if we change sponsor. I would say a change of kit manufacturer as well, but as we've been with Errea since 1997, it appears we're never changing manufacturer again.

Yeah, I know, still struggling to come to terms with the idea...will probably sink in at the start of next season if we are still in it. The only clash we ever get wearing our first strip is with the stewards, we are hardly ever seen in our second one.

We seem to bring out two or three a season. Oddly this season we had a third kit (yellow one) which we’ve worn most away games over the black away one and haven’t put it on sale in the shop at all!

Hopefully next season we go back to black shorts... for anyone clinging to hope they stay up at our expense we have had an all white kit twice before in 1999 and 2007... both times we got relegated.... and we’ve currently got an all white kit!

The other time in 2008 we changed tradition we went with black and white stripes and did shit that year too!!!

The only reason for clubs changing their kits so often is to make money from shirt sales. If FGR feel they don’t need new kit income then there’s no issue really.

Apparently they said at the fans' forum tonight we will be getting a new kit next season, so look like we're joining the EFL standard, though maybe we'll keep this one for a couple of seasons too.

We've announced we're changing our kit manufacturer to TAG Sportswear. I hadn't heard of them so I googled them and they're based half a mile from where I work in Burton on Trent. Maybe I can get a discounted shirt from source.

Gary Rowett speaks highly of these guys and that's good enough for me ;)

Seriously though, I reckon it's a good thing when clubs go for the lesser known kit manufacturers. Better than sharing that same bland generic kit design with another ten sides.

But OTOH, these guys also designed this beauty so I don't know :conf:

They didn't design the sponsor's logo of a guy being levitated by the power of his own fart though.

We changed both home and away this year so I wouldn't expect us to have a new one. I may well be wrong though!
