That Fleetwood strip is smart tbf.
I know Fleetwood are a non-league club at heart, but they actually play in league one. Let's stay on topic.

That Wrexham Lager kit from the 90s pictured further up the thread is a classic.
liking Bury AFCs!

I like that, but I didn't realise the Bury phoenix club were re-branding as Coventry.

Weve run out of our first stock of shirts, selling 2400 since release on Thursday. I haven't decided whether or not to get the home shirt or wait till they release the away shirt

We've announced a 4 year commercial partnership with Kelme - home and away kits for next season are above. Not keen on the home one, however that away kit is stunning, much better than the pink and grey monstrosity we had last season.

We have decided we need three kits this season and in recognition of Grimsby joining us in the NL our third kit will be black and white stripes. Basically three completely different designs / colours with the only common feature being the badge.

Well, our twitter admin has been teasing the new home kit release for a number of days now, with the simple cryptic message of ‘soon’ attached to every tweet…

Here’s all we’ve got so far

I like it Whats 1899 a reference to- is that your establishment date? do you not have shirt sponsors?
It is indeed. We haven't had a shirt sponsor for 3 years, instead we have a "commercial arrangement" with ProDirect ("The World's Largest Online Football Store" who are based just up the road in Newton Abbot).

Not entirely sure what they get out of it but they promote our gear on their site and brokered the deal that gets us some really smart Nike shirts every year. The last two seasons our kits have only been available through them at first before arriving in the club shop a few weeks later but this year they seem to be selling them through the club already. They've also exclusively sold a couple of limited edition shirts at ProDirect.

I know we sell a fair few more shirts now we don't have some cheesy local company plastered all over them.

That away kit is mint and for once, I don’t mean that as a pun.

I haven’t heard of most of those kit makes. Completely new to me. What’s a macron and a kelme??? Stinks of clubs that have never won a damn thing in their lives. Luckily for us, Chesterfield and Torquay when you win things, the big brands come calling. Tin potters galore on here. Ours will be Adidas, puma, under armour or Nike. No other brand would be worthy of having a place on our shirts

Whoa there ours are Macron and I’ll have you know we’ve won the Lincolnshire Senior Cup about 40 fucking times thanks.

Apologies.

I just feel for the Wrexham lads. Breaks my heart that they finally get a bit of money and celebrity status and still none of the big brands are interested.

Macron is the President of France, and is a dab hand with a sewing machine.

Also...

The shirt has #BornToBeFylde printed into the collar, as well as the featured two stars above the club crest to recognise the club’s winning of the FA Trophy and the FA Vase.

Tinpot thread please

Joking apart (Lazio and Deportivo are tinpot clubs after all) Macron have made us some of the best kits we've had down here. The only downside is their stingy sizing.

The quality of this new one is far better than the Adidas ones we had. Only the Nike ones we had to celebrate our 150 years really compares in my opinion.

Speaking of quality though, remember how bad those Vandanel ones were that we had in the early to mid 2000s? Can't even describe the material they used for those shirts, they were just horrid and if your fingernails caught the sponsor logo it was like scratching a chalkboard.

Depor play in the regional Spanish third tier now after somehow getting relegated two years in a row. Probably a lower standard and more tinpot than the Vanarama.

They even got a scuffed Jack Grealish to model it.

We've ditched macron after one season and got Hummel back on board after the last aborted effort. The backlash from the fans before the start of last season made the club scrap Hummel's proposed kit and go with Macron. Hopefully it'll be a better effort than that one.

I liked the pink. Fortunately too old to wear a replica kit. Not keen on either to be honest but it is a brilliant financial deal for the club with Kelme kitting out all of the clubs teams down to the U6s for free.

The training tops on the other hand are stunning. Shame the purple in them wasn’t the second kit.

Macron kits were pretty decent and we did have bespoke kits for the latter years. We were happy to stay with them but the Kelme deal was too good to refuse.
