Doesnt look too bad, something different, am I dreaming or did they wear something similar in the FA Cup final defeat to Chelsea a few years back?

That was just white with a salmon and crimson trim. Much more tidy than the one we've just unveiled!

I’ve seen worse but then again I prefer kits that are a bit different, which considering some of the designs we’ve had in recent seasons is probably a good thing.

Plymouth had similar with that and green I recall in their promotion season in the 00s!

Some interesting designs this season, obviously Barnsley stands out as a shocker with their USA 94 style design. Bristol Rovers one today is very clever and has a powerful message (literally sown into it).

Seems less template designs at least which is good to see, that’s what I was worried about with switching to Puma from Errea.

There is simply no excuse for 100% templated designs in this day and age (the classic "plain blue/red and white with your club badge stuck on" type scenario).

For most of the time we had O'Neills as our kit manufacturer (2016-2022), literally all of the shirts had the same underlying design in terms of the collar, sleeve etc - but they all looked different because the design printed over the top was different.

I realise that not all clubs will want to spend money on things like kit design etc, but to be honest I'm sure any college design student who's a fan of whichever club would do it for free...

Our third kit, which I can't think will ever be worn in a game, has a bit of a snazzy training top kinda vibe. Back of the shirt sponsor is way too big.

Ah yes, the ever-stealthy black/pink camo combo, essential if you want to blend into the background in an, erm... 80s nightclub, and...nowhere else? Very practical.

New Vale limited Edition third kit: Oddly blue like our away kit!

Only 1876 being produced and is a homage to the local potteries industry with the Wedgewood design.

Has anyone release their kits for the new season?

We have recently teamed up with Umbro after Hummel's UK distributor went bust. I believe ours is due for release around 14th July.

So whilst Hummel's kits for us have been popular with the fans from the design perspective, their quality has not...and the rubber stick-on Hummel manufacturer logos have been falling off in the wash in their droves, apparently (mine's been OK but only worn/washed it a couple of times).

With the net result that we had to piss about with recalls/refunds for existing kits and taking them off sale, at what is kind of a peak time for sales (i.e. early in the season).

Shitshow, especially since Hummel previously had distributor problems recently.

We had a lot of issues with the home shirts last season with Errea and the sponsor peeling off on the kids ones! The Puma one's so far have been much better quality wise (weird material mind!)

Considering the price these things cost you'd think the quality would be there.

Mind you at least they deliver, we used BLK for one season and the training gear was so late Tom Pope even went on twitter asking them when hes training shorts would be arriving!
