Really impressive kit, whoever designs the kits needs to be kept around

I like it, smart. Although didn't I read something last season that as we have Bristol sport and not a world wide brand like addidas designing our shirts that would be slightly cheaper than the norm? 45 quid, yikes!:ohm:

Good kit, nice to see that Bristol Sport are just keeping it straightforward, but smart. No over the top designs, no experimenting for the sake of experimenting, just a proper traditional looking kit.

Apparently the cost with the brands had gone up where BS kept the prices the same as they were and instead the profit on the shirts comes straight back to us as well.

Not a big fan of the new shirt, I like collars, but might be persuaded to part with my cash if the same design is in purple and lime.

Oh, and I still like that Walsall shirt from the 90s. 90s football shirts > every non 90s football shirt.

They all look OK on professional footballers, but before purchasing you need to consider,
"what will it look like with a very large, hairy beer gut hanging out of the bottom of it?".

Hence why this old bastard won't be buying it not that I have a beer gut, I just think replica shirts on someone 40+ looks daft. It does look good though with links to the old 1975 shirt IMHO, credit to Bristol sport.

That away kit just doesn't seem Shrewsbury at all.

It wouldn't have been my choice, but it is one we've used before back in Jake King's days in the late 1990s.

The most important factor regarding these new kits is a return, of sorts, to our traditional Loggerheads badge after several years of the horrendous clipart lion badge that had absolutely no association with the club or it's history in any shape or form. A small victory for fan power in this instance.

Did Shrewsbury hire a GCSE student to make that video?

Home kit is quite nice though.

I don't dislike our new shirt but nothing is capable of beating our shirts all-round this season. Shame they have to change - we better be keeping purple and lime.

I like it, it looks like a Nike template from a few years ago that was used by loads of teams including Man Utd.

It does bar adding in the trim and neck. Back to the vale kits of the 70s with the V.

So Errea do actually make decent shirts, and we've still got a dross one.

Superb.

Gotta be joking,surely!
Nineties strips were dreadful...way over the top with silly patterns and psychedelic designs, etc.
The decade that taste forgot.Awful.
Thankfully much sanity has since been restored.

I was a young teenager in the early 90s, obviously at my most impressionable.

Rumours around that we may be resplendent in Bristol rugby BLUE as our change strip. :eyes:

I've heard it elsewhere too but that may well be where people read it originally. I don't know TBH, just thought it worth mentioning. I'm a P and L man in all honesty.

They'd be mad to change it. Purple and Lime kick started our season with the win away at Sheff Utd, the squad fell in love with it and adopted it as our away kit and then we were promoted wearing it in a 6-0 win.

Won't be as good without the collar but it needs to make a return! As does JET...

Remember it's actually our 3rd kit.
