Our new home shirt has just been revealed. I think I like it, it'll grow on me.

Usual corporate-speak guff has come with it though. "Use the past to deliver the future" :dk:

Also as it's our 15th consecutive season in the EFL (woohoo) it's got 3 stars above the badge "to mark the milestone year - each of them representing five seasons". I'm sure we won't get anyone taking the proverbial for that... :ffs:

We're due a new home and away shirt, I think.

Andrea Carter Sports were absolutely shite at keeping the Club Shop stocked up this season with their stuff. Embarrassingly so.

We usually have three kits a year although rumours are we are just having two.

Rumours that home is white with a retro collar and the away is black... which then begs the question on what we will wear at Grimsby and Notts County.

Errea have made us some real nice shirts so hoping these are decent too. Our England 1980's style home shirt and Vale 1912 burgundy third kit were big hits this past season.

If you look at the white lines as though they were positions in the league going from the top...
Could this be Yeovils season :bye:

Thankfully our sponsorship with Sondico has finished, poor quality kits. We'll now be with Umbro for 2 seasons, should be a large upgrade.

I bought one sondico top and that was the last one I bought. Shite is an understatement. The thing pretty much fell to bits.

I'm expecting decent kits from Umbro.

Why did your club change to orange?

It seems probable (though not official) that we initially did it as part of the sponsorship deal with EasyJet, as we first swapped the home kit to orange the first season we had them on the shirt. That was our first season down in the Conference so we were probably quite desperate to secure a decent sponsorship package.

A couple of years ago we put it to a fan vote whether to stay as orange at home or to revert to the traditional white. Unfortunately this was another example of democracy being flawed by human stupidity and the orange votes won :ffs: Personally I think we should make it a yearly referendum until we get the r̶e̶s̶u̶l̶t̶ ̶I̶ ̶w̶a̶n̶t̶ correct result.

Luton started wearing orange back in the 1973/74 season....
It changed our luck...leading to promotion soon after....
Fucked up subutteo for a while...till they got away from their standard kit colours...red blue white claret were the norm

Needless to say the 3 stars on our shirt are causing widespread embarrassment among our fans. Quite rightly.

It's another sign of what ridiculously low standards our board have and what they laughably consider to be success.

I like the Orange and loved the vertical off centre white on blue stripe with the badge in the middle. Prob because that was the kit in the late 70's when I first attended.

Not sure what ours will look like yet but our new manufacturer us football Thailand (FBT)

Apparently Doncaster use them. I dread to think what we will end up with.

I like the orange though. White is worn by about 30 clubs, whereas to my knowledge, only 4 have orange as their first colour. Its different.

We've got a new away kit for next season, there was a choice of 3 a few months ago, but no-one knows which one won the vote yet. They're blue with white trim, yellow with blue trim and black with red trim.

We're going into our 20th season with Errea as a kit manufacture. That has to be some sort of record.

We're going to wait for Carlisle to find a couple of efforts that they like and then offer the designer more money for them.

I think your team will suit blue.

Will you let us have your Surridge ones as compensation?

I don't mind the orange either really especially with the blue (when we originally switched back to orange in our first year in the conference it was just orange and white and it was awful and definitely not our colours). But for me, our colours will always be white shirts and dark blue shorts with perhaps some orange trim thrown in there if we really want to acknowledge the orange colours. IMO when we wore the away kit in those colours this season it looked really smart and I cant think of too many other clubs with that combination either, Preston off the top of my head (minus the orange of course) and thats about it (i'm sure ive missed a few).

Was sort of hoping we could copy what Oxford did a few seasons back and have a special kit to celebrate the Littlewoods Cup anniversary, will be 30 years in the April of the 17/18 season but alas doesnt look like it. Really do not like the look of the black/purple/white/orange abomination Hylton has got on in that shoot.

Tottenham, but yes you're the only one with orange trim. I much preferred that look too... orange is a good accent colour but too garish for a main colour I think.

That Yeovil top is decent apart from the stars. What were they thinking?

That's the trouble, we don't think properly as a club. One star for every five years in the football league? Whoop de doo. If they waited until 2020 it's our 125 year anniversary, that at least would have been a decent reason to do something like that.
