to be fair the "duck having a dump" is a standard opposition minor heckle.

Gotta have the poo-shaped chain.

This shirt even made it in german footy mag's online version

http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...um-traegt-wycombes-torwart-dieses-trikot.html

in this article it says that Barry Richardson designed it with the purpose to "draw the attention of the (opposing) players to the goalie ", "divert them a bit" and "let him look bigger in their focus". It's like when you look in a kaleidoscope ;)

And it seems that Wycombe goalie Scott Brown is happy with it because in the article he said that it's the "best goalie shirt he's ever had not the boring standard type you always get).

Wycombe's player said they weren't diverted by the look of the shirt but even here Barry Richardson has an explanation "They already begin to think about it.....:D "

At least the shirt has already attracted the news in Germany's online footy mag. It's one of the rare moments that a lower league club like Wycombe is mentioned here and not only the big guns of England's PL. So a first success ;)

Hopefully mowgli won't be too distracted when he watches his Wanderers at home and only has eyes for the goalie ;)

It reminds me of a Grimsby kipper's shirt from the 90's that I found on a stall in a Buenos Aires flea market. I was almost tempted to invest until I worked out the price. Argentinians seem to be serious shirt collectors. I can't find a picture - can anyone oblige?

I'm not sure why they haven't put a photo of the home kit with white shorts on twitter, as that's what we'll be wearing most of the time. Instead we have to enjoy the photo of Danny Grainger's package in the blue shorts. Here's another photo.

I'm not too keen on the home shirt. Not enough red and it bugs me the way that the edge of the black panel doesn't line up with the seams. Sponsor's come out nice though and I do like the away kit.

Not sure what the graphic designer who composed the image was smoking.

May just be that photo, but Nicky Adams looks like he had a good summer.

Perhaps Henning Wehn has been using his connections.

The Wycombe goalie wears the look of a drunk that's realised that he's stumbled on to the train line, and the train's on time.

Not bad that Colchester home strip, quite decent actually, but not a fan of the away one.

The less words said about Swindon's away kit the better. And anyway, I don't think there's a word in the dictionary that aptly describes that monstrosity. That's without getting into the different colour shade for the shorts and socks vs the shirt. 1/10.

I know you all have been secretly waiting for my updated best/worst shirt list so without further ado.

The ones I like, in no particular order -

Yeovil A (Quite possibly No 1 for me)
Lincoln A
Notts County H
Cambridge H

The main offenders, again i.n.p.o.-
Crewe H & A
Swindon A
Luton A
Carlisle A
Stevenage H & A

The other ones are somewhere in the middle, as I reckon they're decent enough but ultimately only average. I've changed my mind on Barnet's shirts as I think I was a bit harsh at first, and they're not as bad as I had first thought.

As you can all tell, I need to get a life and pronto :woot:

Do Swindon's sponsors have anything to say on that away kit, because you can barely read it, even at close range... just an awful awful kit. The designer's photoshop file will contain about twenty layers to contain all that.
