Has anyone released their new kits for the season yet?

I hope our home kit isn't as dreadful as last seasons!

Releasing ours in July - apparently it's going to have some ruby in it again, a la our glorious 2011/12 kit.

Our one in the post above was voted for way back in November. Really like it except one gripe…The back has the clear red panel so you can easily see the name and number, which I think looks odd when this will be totally blank for most fans. I’d prefer stripes down the back too.

Black shorts as well I'm assuming?

I like that shirt a lot, so it's a shame they've ruined it with the back panel.

Not sure on the shorts. I’d like to go back to the traditional black shorts, but we may stick with red considering it’s the first season in over 30 years that we had red shorts and it ended in a promotion!

Looks like Robbie Williams will reveal our new kit at his homecoming concert at Vale Park today, Vale have tweeted a hint we are going back to black and white from the white/gold we’d had this season.

I might have to invest in one of those
Seems popular, just shows the change in the club though a few short years ago Norman having the home kit revealed creased up over an office chair to a global music icon in a concert at our own ground holding the trophy.

This club is light years ahead of where it was! Got to enjoy the ride!

As reveals go it’s clearly done the trick in terms of publicity. Not too sure what I think of the new one at the moment to be honest. I think that might be due to the fact have grown attached to the white and gold one though. Think the current gold away one will become the third kit if they do what they did with the all black so will see what they come up for an away kit, my guess is it’ll be blue.

I reckon away will be black same style but with white or gold Vale Park patterns, which would then explain the two home kit option in terms of using white or black shorts

Quality shirt that is, well impressed. The pattern on the sleeves is the stadium apparently. Will definitely be buying that. The journey our club has been on, couldn't be happier and prouder at the moment, after so many shit years.

It is. Overall including the plush Robbie Williams suite things are looking good. I looked on in envy at the likes of Lincoln and Burton doing things well in the right manner and preyed for Vale to find that kind of ownership. Thankfully it came.

For the first time since 2014/15 we won't have Errea. I've mostly liked their efforts with us having bespoke kits that other clubs ended up copying afterwards, but a change should be good. Hopefully they've got normal sizing...

This is a much better shirt than last years. Looks much better close up with the front panel pattern. Should sell well this one.

Yeah they seem to smash it every year with their kits.

Are you with Hummel this season?

I love the straplines that clubs come out with when they do their releases, often they verge from terrible to downright ridiculous. Yours is interesting, what does 'It's the amber of the U's' actually mean? (if anything)

It's certainly a new one on me. A made up marketing strapline but not sure it really means anything.

It sounds good to us U's fans though.

Confirmed our kit will be Macron as we've signed a 4 year deal. New kit will be released sometime before the season starts....

Maybe...but not much use if they fail to deliver in time for the start of the season...meaning that your club has to raid a local sports shop (thank you Batemans in Stroud) for something suitable, to avoid your players turning out in skins at Grimsby!

We are now with Player Layer, who stepped up to the plate when Hummel let us down, bought a home shirt last season...the first time I've bought a footy shirt in years...and reckon the quality is excellent.

To be fair to Hummel I believe that’s the one and only time that’s happened. They’ve made plenty of kits since then with no issues.

I've bought a couple of our playerlayer (away) shirts, they are decent.

We're due to change our away but not our home kit this year. Dale Vince was recently photographed wearing a pink version of our zebra top, with the implication that would replace the black and white one. Not sure how that would go down.... We've had our blue third kit for three seasons now I think, not sure what is happening with that, not least given its sales benefit Sea Shepherd.

Not a fan of the blue kit...think our kit should reflect the club colours, some combination of black, white and green...in a variety of forms. Not sure how serious Dale was about the pink kit for our first choice away kit, think he might have been joking...don't think our keepers will be happy as both of them seem to wear pink far more often than yellow.
