Moose from Talkshite has said Ian Hendon is to become the new Orient manager this morning, I remember him failing at Barnet. Seems one of those good coach but shite manager types like our very own Steve Holland was.

Can't see Orient competing if he gets the job but I suppose he'll have good contacts.

Barnet legend. Wasn't fantastic as a manager though.

Tosser.

But you never know he might get it right at Orient. Some managers do shit in one job but do well in another.

He better have developed his tactical ideas as a manager otherwise he'll be found out very quickly.
Barnet legend though and part of that Leyton Orient team that were 'managed' by and subject to John Sitton's meltdowns in 94/95.

Smacks of a chairman "doing a Kassam" and running a club at a bare minimum whilst he seeks to offload it, hope I'm wrong for the sake of LOFC fans.

This has been going round since last Wednesday, we've all known about it and we all know its been coming.

Apparently Darren Ferguson was offered the job, but he wanted too much money for wages...........

It will be a truly awful appointment, which just shows how pointless being a Leyton Orient fan is right now.

Our owner is a c*** and anyone with half a brain who is any good, won't be coming here. Hendon is the cheap "yes" man type.

Not to mention he was truly crap at Barnet.

We also have a transfer embargo on us, which our club is too scared to admit (because they're all c***).

We are nailed on for relegation next season.

We're paying Darius Henderson £10k per week, Dean Cox and Jay Simpson £5k per week and Jobi McAnuff £7k per week.

He is throwing money at the wrong sort of players FFS.

Yeah, I did know about those...but I thought that your chairman was trying to offload the club now, meaning that while he may honour any existing pathetically over-inflated contracts, it would be interesting to see who you get in should you even get out of the transfer embargo.

We've been in the sugar daddy owner with an ulterior motive situation before and it usually goes t1ts up unless it's a local boy made good, hope I'm wrong.

By the way, Orient fans, was your Win A Pro Contract player as much of a comedy flop as ours was? Released without playing one second of competitive football for the club.

Jack Sherratt, yep he was also a flop, who played no games for us! Apprently he was very out of his depth in training. Didn't even complete his contract!

We now have 2 Italian players cut from the same cloth, from our owners stupid TV show - Who will play because Becchetti will bully Hendon into doing it.

He is not selling up, he gave an answer through our CEO and fans trust last week.

Since he has been here, the communication he has done is: The press conference when he bought the club, 3 programme notes and 1 TV interview.

The man is a c*** of the highest order, I wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire. I would LOVE and I mean LOVE to break his rotten face.

He might have learnt from his experience at Barnet and come back stronger, or he might be absolute dog shit and be sacked by November. Either way it looks like the cheap option.

Legend as a player at Notts. Always struck me as a future manager - he may well have learnt from his experience at Barnet

Whats this about a transfer embargo? FFP?

Accounts from 2013/2014 year are yet to be filed for some unknown reason. FFP is irrelevant.

Fair do's, think the source got his wires crossed a bit then!

Apparently Ferguson, Tisdale and Hasselbaink all turned us down.

Don't blame them!

He was a decent player for us as well, he was captain when I was mascot in 1996 and looked after me on the pitch. Oh how times change!

Hendon is a decent motivator but abysmal tactically.

He deployed the same tactic in every game he managed: get ball out wide and cross it. After 18 months it got a little bit predictable for opposing teams.

Something like 3 wins between October and March in his second season with us?

Orient are screwed if he hasn't developed tactically.

This is an email from our CEO who has emailed back one of the fans:

:pmsl::pmsl::woot::oops:

This is what we have had to deal with the last 12 months FFS.

Am I missing what's wrong with that statement? I mean they seem to be bad looking from a far, but nothing wrong with that.

Aside from the fact that the grammer is awful (But thats not the point as English is not his mother tongue), he states that Hendon has been approached and that they're discussing terms.

This sort of stuff should be kept private FFS, not told to a regular everyday fan! Very unprofessional.

He claims he is working 12 hours flat, well mate, maybe if you didn't sack the previous CEO who was helping you with the transition period after 2 months, you wouldn't be in this mess.
