Aside from the fact that the grammer is awful (But thats not the point as English is not his mother tongue), he states that Hendon has been approached and that they're discussing terms.

This sort of stuff should be kept private FFS, not told to a regular everyday fan! Very unprofessional.

He claims he is working 12 hours flat, well mate, maybe if you didn't sack the previous CEO who was helping you with the transition period after 2 months, you wouldn't be in this mess.
Fair points.

Hendon has always seemed like a sound, nice guy. That doesn't win you points though.

Brought some decent players in on loan, including Bolaise. As mentioned by other Barnet fans, struggled to find a consistent winning approach and lost the plot in his final match meaning we had to sack him with only two matches of the season left.

Wish him well, apart from our two games, because he was a club legend (even came and sat with us Barnet fan away to Stevenage after coming off injured) and as mentioned before, a nice guy.

Uninspiring appointment for Orient but you never know, he might be able to turn your fortunes around.

Hendon has just done his press conference, Nugent (allegedly on £5,000 per week) will stay as a coach and we will be looking to bring in an assistant manager. Presumably Gagliardi will also be staying.

Angelieri has confirmed we are under a transfer embargo and this ought to be lifted next week. He has also confirmed Becchetti is not looking to sell and remains committed to Leyton Orient.

We will be offering a contract to Chris Dagnall for sure.

Nothing like no pressure for Hendon...

"This year we want to immediately get promotion. We cannot stay in this league another year. We want to go up to League One immediately and in two years we will try to go into the Championship because this is the expectation of the president."

Oh Jesus wept. Mind you, with the money you're spunking up the wall (at least on players, perhaps not a quality manager) you must have the largest budget in the division by some stretch, maybe Pompey would be close but not sure.

I'd say we've got a decent sized budget for this league and even we're nowhere near Orient's. I would think that 4 or 5 of their players could probably cover our entire first team.

Our owner is a fucking c*** anyway. He didn't even turn up to Hendons press conference.

He is stupid, this sort of stuff takes time. We had a £4million wage budget last season and we still went down - Because of his inability to A) Keep Russell Slade, but more importantly B) Hire a suitable replacement for Russell Slade with experience of the English Leagues. You don't want to hire a man, who cannot speak English and who has no experience of English football at all whilst you're going through a very big transitional phase for the club. :ffs:

Hendon has got to balance the books a bit as well, we need to get the team spirit back to a decent level, players like Darius Henderson on £10k per week but missing 5 months of the season through injury don't do anyone any favours.

We will by far have the biggest wage budget next season, no doubt at all. Only Portsmouth and probably Luton will come anywhere near ours.

And you know what, we will STILL go down because the chief executive is an incompetent moron and the man who employs him, is an illiterate, brain dead, stupid, retarded moronic fucking c*** with no idea how to communicate with people on any level.

Our contracted players are:

Adam Legzdins
Gary Woods
Charlie Grainger
Shane Lowry
Mathieu Baudry
Nathan Clarke
Romain Vincelot
Lloyd James
Bradley Pritchard
Dean Cox
Jobi McAnuff
Darius Henderson
Jay Simpson

Doing a rough estimate of each player, I guess our budget to be around £1,500,000 - £2,000,000 depending on the extent of relegation wage clauses.

This is before we factor in that we probably need 1 lb, 1 cb, 2 rb, 1 cm, 1 rw, 2 st - minimum. In reality I'd hope we could also get another keeper, another right winger and a striker, so maybe 11 or so new signings. I guess our budget will be over £3,000,000 by August. Eye watering.

That budget is unbelievable for this level.

Really blows my mind that Darius Henderson was on nearly £500k a year!

I'll be interested to see how Hendon does, given how limited he was during his time with us!

I take it your high earners won't be going anywhere, bar maybe Dean Cox?

Doesn't look all doom and gloom to me. At least the manager is English and will be able to communicate properly with the players. It's not like it's an advantage on other clubs but keeping their squad together surely won't result in another relegation.
I really need to get back to Orient. I miss Brisbane so much!

Dossena was on 14k a week last season....

Think it depends how you classify high earners... Bar Grainger who's just come through the youth system, I can't see any of our contracted players being below £1,500 a week, which I'd imagine for this level is quite a moderately high earner... I don't think we'll be selling anyone, Baudry, Vincelot and Cox are our most valuable assets I think, not sure I can see anyone meeting our valuation. Cox is a weird one, my gut feeling says he'll stay as I can't see his reported wage being bettered by a League One side and I'm doubtful whether a Championship team would take a punt on him.

Hendon has been talking to our out of contract players, would quite like to see Omozusi, Bartley and Dagnall stay.

I think we'll be top seven, I would kind of expect top three. With the contracted players we have, a line up of:

Simpson - Henderson
Cox - Vincelot - James - McAnuff
Lowry - Baudry - Clarke - Pritchard
Woods
That's a top League Two team already on paper... I think you can make an argument that Baudry is the best centre back, Vincelot is the best centre midfielder, Cox is the best wide man and Simpson/ Henderson is the best strike force in the league... Add in two proper full backs and a right midfielder (even if we did lose Cox, McAnuff as a replacement isn't exactly a bad replacement) and you're looking at a team that really has no excuses not to be top three... Especially as we'll probably be bringing in 8 - 11 new faces.

Then come back to London!

We started 09/10 in similar style to your lot with him in charge. It didn't last long though.

Probably because your players weren't anywhere near as good as ours and Hendon was a complete rookie.

Still, I don't think the squad is good enough for automatic promotion. The playoff nightmare awaits, I suspect.

Is The Terminator the new hellogregory? Do we need to start the necessary forfeit thread right here, right now? Inquiring minds want to know. LOFC = champions by Christmas.

TheTerminator has always been pessimistic, even during 13/14 he always saw the worst possible scenario.

It was the worst possible scenario though, we threw away a two goal lead at Wembley and lost on penalties - Our 3rd playoff final defeat in a row.

Still a long way to go here, I wouldn't be suprised if still finished near the drop zone. We're Leyton Orient, not Chelsea.
