I think Gladwin's legs have gone. He still has lots of ability but he just seems slow of the mark these days. For some reason Gladwin was sat with Morfuni in our directors box at our game v Wrexham.
I like Macari but Brindley has been good last couple games, same back three for me.2 home dominations and playing a team away that we played off the park at our place earlier in the season - I think we know what’s coming…
Hopefully the fact that we’ve been able to make loads of early subs in the last 2 games means everyone is relatively fresh because we have no depth currently. Assume Williams will stick with the same XI although I really would like to see Macari back in for Brindley.
I don't know how the tickets are sold but I was 1002 a few days ago so presumed we'd shifted that many.Rovers v Magpies. Think it will be a decent competitive game. Also Rob Apter's final game of his loan spell before returning to Blackpool, he has been the catalyst behind our improved performances of late.
Connor Wood picked up an injury at Harrogate, James Norris filled in at left-back capably. Walker and Saunders also subbed at h/t in that game, probably more for tactical reasons. Jolley scored within ten minutes of coming on and think I'd prefer him to start ahead of Harvey Saunders.
Ticket sales quite sluggish for this one, both amongst home fans and with only 780 away tickets gone so far, a bit down on expectations for travelling supporters too.
All options possible but I'd suggest a draw most likely with a narrow home or away win not far behind.

This is where I kind of miss Paul Hurst; even though he might have said no returnees from injury in the pre-match you just knew there could be a surprise. Artell seems much more straight up - he’s even confirmed that he would be speaking to a player (Kirk released by Charlton) when asked about the transfer window - PH would say he’d never heard of him.Home to Walsall, we couldn't fill a full bench at Salford, so down to the bare bones; no idea what team we'll be able to field tomorrow. Walsall will be full of beans having beaten Wrexham too.
Hoping for a draw!

I think a draw looks likely but would be amazed if we keep three clean sheets in a row.
The 780 came from our SLO and total sales about 5.8k so far. I’d been expecting over 1k from Notts and a bigger home turnout given our improved form of late. Understand it’s not the ideal away day given the time of year, having to resort to IFollow myself, but hope the Notts estimate of about a thousand is right, will make for a better atmosphere.Think we’re on about 1,100 or something, club said we’d sold half of the 2,000 odd we’ve been given.
Big opportunity for us with at least two of the top four guaranteed to drop points, but we’ve been completely erratic on the road all season. Beyond goals for everybody involved, not really any telling what you might get.

I love it, hangover or not. I'm the driver tomorrow so I won't have one but it's just so much better having a match to go to than not.I’ll be there and enjoying it after a quiet one in tonight, but I don’t really know why they insist on the NYD game. Not sure it gets the big crowds like Boxing Day does and every one I can remember half the people there are knackered or hungover and not massively into it.
Do they usually run Wirral buses on New Year’s Day? None in Hudders today, when I’ve gone over for Jan 1st fixtures by public transport think it’s been train to Rovk Ferry and walk up to PP.Merseytravel have decided we should all stay at home on New Years Day so there are no buses running anywhere on the Wirral all day. That is obviously going to have an effect on tomorrows attendance.
Take a draw now myself can see this being a close game.Home to Walsall, could go either way this one. Both sides are fresh off the back of their best performances of the season by all accounts, but both sides are woefully inconsistent. I thought we were the better side at The Bescott earlier in the season and unlucky to not take three points. Danny Rose missed a glorious chance when were 1-0 up and then we gift them a goal, very very much in keeping with our season so far. We were first to absolutely everything at Salford so hopefully that continues, win here and Artell has gone someway to undoing that defeat to Harrogate. Will be interesting to see who he picks on midfield as the likes of Green and Andrews have been low down on the list but put in right shifts on Friday.
seems your lot aren’t happy? Have to say very surprised - do you think it’s fitness or more a reaction to the bad performance?Clough has dropped Quinn, DKD, Akins and Reed. Very surprising.

We can't afford to make changes. Clough rubbing salt into the wounds. I expect them to win comfortably today.
