Took one look at the standing water in the left back position on the south end of the pitch (furthest end from the Charlton fans)and wondered why they had waited this long.

Ball would not roll! If it stops raining the drainage we have is so good we'd be able to play in 30 minutes.

Tinpot from the club and ref.

Barnsley are not a good side but one great finish from Keillor Dunn and a series of defensive howlers and we are two nil down.

Meh game so far at Adams Park.

Have to give Exeter credit 1) for a good away following and 2) some solid passing, particularly between their backline.

But few chances for either side, as soon as either team gets the ball then someone is straight on them, or 2 players straight on them if Onyedinma or Kone get the ball for us.

Another game where the appropriate use of subs in the second half will be key.

First 10 min was good.had the ball in the net but offside. They barely had the ball.
DKD scores a good goal against the run of play and we've been awful since. Sunday league defending for the 2nd despite it being a good finish.
We really lack a creativity and a threat uptop. Big January needed or we'll be off the pace very soon

F*ck me, that half was painful.
We have had many, many chances - top quality saves from their keeper, hit the post, numerous pinballs and blocks in the six yard box, big penalty shout. How we don’t have at least one goal, if not more, is beyond me.
Reading have had two attacks and, of course, scored…

Boring game, but ref ruining it by being Bruce Forsyth. Nothing bookings.
Wycombe can't be this bad second half, surely.

Captain stretchered off. My god.

Really good half otherwise much better than Stevenage, but have had to rejig as it had to be Hoskins coming on for Guthrie.

Wycombe and Birmingham have much superior strikers than us, we will be slipping out of the auto race soon.

Due a defeat and here it is today, absolute stinker.

How are we not winning this game? Absolute sickener when Reading score from their only entry into our box. Stonewall penalty not given aswell. This could be a defining game in our season if we can’t turn it around. To play that well and still not score beggars belief.

Majority of teams do. DKD would walk into our side. Likes of Bolton, Reading etc have much better.

This referee is fucking abysmal. Almost certainly has Wycombe to win on his accumulator. Cheating prick. Books Harper for a 50/50 then doesn’t even talk to Grimmer for a blatant yellow. Foul for the free kick leading to the goal wasn’t even a free kick let alone a yellow.

Just watched Leahy catch the ball while typing and of course he’s played on. Absolute shambles.

And now I’ve just watched Grimmer boot Harper only for the referee to laugh at it.

Sound like the ref we had at Exeter. We have another joker today I don't know how many in a row that is now

We've battered Barnsley all second half, honestly our best half of attacking football all season probably.

Brilliant to get a over Bolton and hopefully increase the pressure on Evatt, what an epic c*** he is, off you fuck.

Probably pushing it to say we deserved the win, but after coming out with nothing in 2 games at bolton when we could’ve got something both times sometimes football levels itself out.

Glad the ref didn’t fall for boltons tactics of constantly looking for fouls and cards, poor show.

Some awful defending cost us there. Even so we should of won that with the chances missed. Their keeping getting MOTM sums up the 2nd half.
Mullin 1 on 1. Dobson sitter. Cleworth sitter. Fletcher and Mullin multiple 1/2 chances..
Convinced Arthur saves the 1st.
Striker needed ASAP

Was it a pen ?
I don't think so. We've had them not given, but then we're not top of the table...
More to do with Wycombe players not being booked despite dissent, timewasting and fouling. Same old.
They will go up just like before.

We always lose to Rotherham, there is nothing we can do to change that. We may as well accept we'll play poorly against them for the rest of life.

Played with zero confidence today. Felt the ref blew up for every decision which really made it a stop start game from the start and made it such a non event. We massively missed Erhahon (who will be back Saturday) and Hackett. Had no width at all.

First time the crowd have stopped singing after 15 mins and stopped backing the team. An atrocious day all round. First time we've seen boos for subs and boos end of the game. No ounce of entertainment in that, no way of dressing that up. I think that's 1 win in 12 now.

Rotherham a typical Evans side. Play for the throws and free kicks. We just couldnt get going against them. Despite that they deserved the win, Wilks missed 3 chances First half and Wickens saved a few 2nd.

Worrying times.

according to most (but not all) on the Exeter forum, yes
Mmm being selective there. Looking on your forum a few of your posters say it was lucky. Free kick was also soft, and ref seemed to make them go back 15 yards rather than 10.
Every decision went your way today.

We defended well today and scored two good goals but I thought we were pretty average, just clinical. We did to Bolton what Reading did to us basically.

Shock horror Gregory starts after being out for a eternity and his quality was ultimately the difference, some player. Evatt ran off at full time the coward.

The referee was absolutely awful for Mansfield, at one point while we had the ball he decided to stop the game, have a chat with a player from each side then give Bolton a drop ball, he came across like he was purposely trying to stitch us up.

Really really gutsy performance from our mob today up at Sixfields. Much better than Stevenage and they only got any real sustained pressure at our end after 70 minutes when everyone looked out on their feet.

Due to having to juggle the side around we ended with a back 5 of

Right winger - right back - centre half - right back - left winger

So to get a point out of that is a good effort but definitely had the chances to win it but then it became important not to lose it. Couple of injuries picked up as well, news before kick off of McGeehan and Guinness Walker being injured after Shrewsbury and then Guthrie who is the one player we can’t afford to lose, being stretchered off just before half time.

Have definitely seen improvement under Nolan in the last 2 games, and it’s encouraging moving forward that we’ve got enough to stay up, at the minute just got to keep picking those points up while we try and get to a better situation squad wise.
