Newport probably deserve it more, what Flynn's done there is incredible tbf. Tranmere are a very agricultural side, but they get results. Far bigger budget then Newport but they've spent well, Perkins is a top player the type I wish we could afford.

Hopefully none of their fans spit at or assault any Newport players though, would be a poor advert for the division if they disgrace themselves again.

We sold 5000 tickets yesterday. Can see us taking about 12-15 k this season.
Think it will be more but don’t care as long as atmosphere (and result) is like last year rather than the year before.

Oh how exciting!

Two workmanlike former non-league clubs battling it out against each other at an empty Wembley stadium.

Think I'll give this very likely forgettable match a miss thank you.

Could be worse like Forest Green fans Morris Dancing on the seats again when they get over excited!

Nothing wrong with keeping up strong English traditions. We should all Morris Dance much more often. None of this campiones shite when teams win something. They should get out their bells, sticks and whistles and prance about. A proper English celebration by real men.

Our attendance will be hamstrung by the engineering works making the train a ballache, and by the lack of coach availability on the bank holiday weekend. Travel looks tricky. Think we'll take 12k or so, similar to last season.

At least we have fans!!! Funny that the only people who complain about our fans are the supporters of the biggest cheats in the division who’s fans have a thing about smashing seats. Most of the other clubs have a much higher opinion of our support.

One of which beat you twice, has a bigger average gate than you and had an unbroken spell of 93 years in the Football League.

I mean come on, you play a guy in the defence who looks like a pub team player.

When I saw Swindon play Tranmere earlier this season and saw who Jermaine McGlashan was up against, this giant, cartoon character that looked like he would struggle against a tricky winger, I rubbed my hands with glee.

Monthe was fantastic that game and McGlashan didn't get a kick. To be honest, McGlashan probably wouldn't get a kick if you put a shop dummy to mark him, but Manny was great that day, a perfect performance from the big guy.

To be honest, I assume he was aiming his dig at Steve McNulty who hasn't played in ages (bar the meaningless final league game)!
