Tough game for us and I will be delighted if we’re still unbeaten come 5pm on Saturday. Newport fans must be delighted that Flynn is staying, as are we re Taylor so it’s a chance for both managers to show just how good their teams are.

We’ve struggled at Rodney Parade the last two seasons and I think this will be our biggest test yet. Suspect it will be quite close and maybe a 0-0 or 1-0 either way will be a good bet.

I’d imagine that we will recall both Randall Williams and Lee Martin after they both changed the game on Tuesday.

Newport have good forwards who will test our back line to the max. Abrahams will be well up for it and he’ll no doubt want to impress against us.

We should travel in good numbers as it’s quite local for us. UTC.

Expecting a very tough match, and quite a few bookings. I think our lot will play out of their skins to try and protect their unbeaten start, but Newport are clearly decent and will be well up for this one. Could go either way, would be very happy with a point.

Gutted to be missing this one as moving our kid back into uni.
Likely to be a tight match. We don’t score many and usually solid at the back so would take a 1-0. Taylor was with us a couple of seasons back but hardly played so pleased for him to be making a good fist of it in management. V pleased Flynn is staying for the moment and hopefully we’ll put in a tidy performance tomorrow. What’s happened to Gary Warren btw ? Bit of a legend for us but looked well passed it last season at Yeovil and surprised you signed him. Back up squad player if you’re desperate ?

Re Warren, yeah he was an odd signing. He’s only played in the cups and is currently injured but he will only be back up when fit.

Similar to Alex Fisher who we got from Yeovil who’s had be content with a place on the bench so far but it’s good to have some depth which will give us a better chance this season.

Expecting this to be one of the toughest matches of the season so far. That being said we can beat anyone in this league and are full of confidence.

Backing our boys to do the business here. 2-0 to the zidy!

Having called every result wrong so far, I won’t jinx us by predicting a win.

Would be nice to continue the 1 nil home win run over the league leaders as per Plymouth & Crewe.

Win your home games, draw your away ones.
Simple as that, and would take a point. Hopefully about 1k City fans making the short-ish trip.

Ref is a complete homer. Giving us nothing today. Newport are going down far too easily and the ref unfortunately is also buying it.

Shocking ref. Still unbeaten in 13, not too bad.

Err, hate to disagree but we did lose to Coventry in the League Cup.

But, apart from that, I agree. Not too bad....widens the gap between DEVON and Cornwall a little further!

Exeter were the only team in it at 1 nil & the worry was that they would kick on and score again.

Fair play to County we gradually came back in to it before dominating the rest of the game I thought.

Awesome midfield display by Labadie & Sheehan keeping a quality opposition relatively quiet.Abrahams was a key substitution at half time.

Should have won but it’s a decent point.

I think both sets of supporters are probably happy with the result. We knew it was going to be tough and so it proved. Proper never say die attitudes out there from both teams. I know it's a cliche, but we never used to get anything from those sort of games in the past, but shows we have the mettle now. I doubt many teams will pick up points at Newport this season, so 1 point gained in my glass half full

Looking at the replay that's never a penalty. Dives over parkes who can't get out of the way with only one objective on his mind.
