Why is Keith Hill so short? Why would he a leave a club where he is practically a legend, is local to him and a league above?

Wouldn't massively shock me if Hill took it, Plymouth are a big club and much like Cook at Portsmouth, someone will feel the potential is there.

Holloway rules himself out. Reckon he'll end up back at Blackpool.

Coughlan the new odds on favourite. I'd be happy with that.

I hope Brent sounds the "cost effective" option and oversees argyles journey to the vanarama premier league

Brian McDermott now a front runner apparently, would be a very good appointment. Currently head scout at Arsenal.

wonder why Holloway ruled it out he seemed desperate for a job when on tv-radio recently.

He isn't going to get much higher really unless he takes a job with a hell of a lot of crap behind it like Blackpool.

at least Plymouth he'd get support and time..... Phil Brown has shown dropping down can help.

Sources close to both Arsenal and Argyle are saying that Brian McDermott is agreeing personal terms and an announcement likely to be made in the next few days

I can't see it, but would like it to be true

Plymouth fans, Nathan Thomas, what's he like? Signed for us this evening.

A highly talented young player who Sheridan just never liked, even when matches would be crying out for his introduction, he was left on the bench.

Best deployed as an advanced left winger, he's got bags of pace and a great first time cross on his left foot.

The only issue you might have is attitude, seems to think he's better than he is, but he'll do well for you I'm sure of it.

From nowhere, Steve Lomas is now the bookies favourite. Not sure how I feel about that to be honest, not pleased nor disappointed.

Now from nowhere awford into 4/7 favourite.

This appointment would be so disappointing can't think of anyone being linked I would want less it would show 0% ambition.

Bloody hell Andy Awford!! I only found out abit this as I went onto Pasoti to see about Alessandra leaving and see a post saying Awford... I'm thinking surely not Andy Awford.

I would actually feel sorry for Plymouth fans if if happened.

Reid is still under contract, so would be up to the new gaffer and the board, and depends on how much.

On the manager front, it's looking more and more like Derek Adams has the job

Not a bad win ratio at Ross County by the looks of it. Doesn't tell you a great deal but never fucking heard of the bloke!

I will be interested in that one as I wanted us to get Derek Adams.

From all accounts he's a complete kn*b head as most of the Scottish fans on pie and Bovril laughed their heads off and took p*ss when he got sacked, but he did take what is a village team into the SPL and for afew years had them easily competing with much larger clubs, but a horrendous start last season led him to sack.

whether with his connections all in Scotland he can work at other side of country is another question, but it did work for Sturrock I suppose.

Adams set to be confirmed tomorrow morning.

Decent appointment, marvelous job at Ross County, seems a bit of a character, but I've got no issue with that.

I have to sort've hope you fail because if you get top 3 I will be annoyed at our idiot board and their ridiculous 'must have former L2 experience so get a bad L2 experience manager' approach
