Wigan - The less Lancashire clubs the better, this season aside we never get anything in that stupid county
Blackpool - As above
Rotherham - South Yorkshires on the dodgy divide in my head that states that midlands teams are relatively local and Yorkshire teams are far away, the less teams in the region the less people have to deal with my twisted logic of going to an away game.
Middlesborough - It's miles away
Norwich - I like being the only yellow army in the league
Derby - Will go up eventually in my opinion, better sooner than later.

Hull - Never been, always been a reason I've not been able to go and need to tick it off.

Bristol City - Same as Leicester, no choice but Bristol is decent anyway.
Swindon - Not too far and they're not franchise.
Peterborough - No real reason.

Lose:

Middlesbrough, Derby and not really bothered about the others as they're all pretty southern.

The current bottom three, Millwall is local but we find it impossible to beat them and I never get the bragging rights at work, will be pleased to see the back of them.

In anticipation of being here:

QPR, Villa and Sunderland down from the prem. The former is an easy trip, the latter two we havent played for yonks. Preston and Sheff Utd to come up with us because I dont want Swindon or MK Dons stinking the championship out next season.

To leave this division: Middlesbrough, Norwich and Ipswich (up) and Blackpool, Wigan and Rotherham (down) for distance reasons.

To me, yes. I love a good hostile away game. The likes of Wolves, Leeds and Stoke always add to the energy in and around the ground. But having said that, on the opposite side, if you're going to have a 'nice' away day, it might as well be somewhere that has multiple food outlets, nice touches in the ground and large, comfortable seats.

Shame about the pubs, though.

I meant that over the season they've not spent much time in the top 6, so to get in the top 6 at the end and to win the play-offs would make them less deserving than a team who have been in the top 6 all season in my opinion.

To be honest any team in the top 8 deserves to go up in my opinion, just look at how high their point tallies are for proof of that. We might not have been in the top 6 for most of the season but the league is of much higher quality than last season. I think all of us will easily eclipse that target set by Brighton in 6th place last season. A team with our point total this time last season would probably be 3rd or 4th, with us being 8th says how good some of the teams are in the division.

I hate the word 'tinpot', as it's got a large scoop of 12 year olds on Twitter banter.

I don't mind being referred to as one of the smaller clubs in the league, but to refer to us as tinpot is just not true. We average about the same away from home as Blackburn, and have a five figure average attendance despite spending a good part of the last decade in oblivion. This, despite having a small away section at the ground (i.e. not bolstering total support by allowing 7,000 tickets for away fans). I notice other clubs (Bournemouth, Brentford, Millwall) average in the 10k, whilst Blackpool just inch over 11k, so we're hardly out on our own, and our average attendance would be higher if our talked about expansion of the ground goes through.

I just took the time to Google the average attendances and was surprised to see Blackburn average LESS THAN 15K. This from the former English Champions not so long since. Now I knew you'd lose fans on relegation, but Christ, about 40% of your fanbase have jumped ship. You're 17th out of 24th in the home attendances stakes, so it's a bit rich calling us tinpot.

The only real tinpot teams are those in the football league that some would say don't merit being there as their crowds aren't sustaining league football. Accrington, Crawley, Stevenage, Burton, etc.

And our urban population is much more in line with Blackburn's. The Metropolitan Borough contains places such as Dinnington, North and South Anston, Maltby, which we don't draw hardly any of our support from (though we do better in Maltby than the others).
