Maradona has always great entertainment both during his playing career and after it. He comes as a real person, warts and all, whereas Pele has always been careful to present a manicured airbrushed image of himself publicly.
I can certainly see Argentina beating France, who have performed in a disjointed manner so far.

I’m also pleased Argentina got through as I’d rather watch France v Argentina than France v Nigeria. Argentina will at least attempt to attack rather than sitting back and hitting on the counter.
