Last Request gathered the villagers round as Aberstone sharpened his axe. There had been only one dissenter to the execution of the pub landlord Steady. Stringy and Mr. Elmo's, who had enjoyed Steady's bar more than anyone else over the years, were feeling sombre.

Aberstone wielded his axe above Steady. It is a well known fact (in this game at least) that when a werewolf is killed his body reverts to the wolf form. Aberstone's axe fell and Steady's head was severed from his body. The crowd waited. Nothing happened.



































































Initially.


































Steady's body began to convulse in a demonic manner and hair began to sprout from his body. The crowd were repulsed but they had made their village a little safer today. Steady was a wolf.


Steady is dead.

It is now night.

TomPNE1994 was awake early for his mission. With Steady gone there was plenty of opportunity for free beer. He crept across the village dreaming of the money he'd make from selling the beer now that Steady was gone. He got to the bar and to his surprise the door was open. He crept in and saw blood all along the staircase. Someone had been staying in Steady's spare room.



















TomPNE1994 realised who this must be. Stagat the stranger! Where else would he be staying? TomPNE1994 rushed up the stairs but there was no sign of Stagat bar a few blood stained pieces of clothing. The wolves had struck again.


Stagat is dead.

wow didn't expect that! The wolfs appear to be doing random kills? Could this mean the wolves could be in contact because it seems unlikely that all of them would decide to randomly kill Stagat?

The only rational thought I can offer behind Stagat's death is this - the seer is in contact with the Circle of Trust and knowing this, the wolves are carrying out a trial by error style elimination, hoping to pop off the seer so the rest of their clan aren't identified.

Good work Circle of Trust, credibility beckons. Will be interested to hear any views on Stagat's killing. It seems random to me but there may be more to it than that.

Do we think the wolves are down to two or did SUTSS 'clarification' over the rules imply more of them?

The CoT mentioned that they brang in a few without doing checks, but who they thought were the most likely to be innocent to see off Steady the wolf. Hopefully they didn't reveal the seer to one of them and then they turn out to be a wolf, but acted a long as Steady was confirmed and maybe Stagat was revealed to a wolf as the seer.

I can confirm, as regards myself at least, no other definite names of anyone in the CoT were revealed to me.

Yeah to revel names to unconfirmed innocent people would not be a good idea at all so I can't see them doing that.

The CoT was revealed to us. The seer's identity though was not.

Presumably the COT can't just contain confirmed innocents if there's that many already? The seer can only have checked out, what? 2 or 3 people excluding Steady. Still, can't exactly knock them at the moment. Not sure how else they would know of anyone's innocence but hopefully all is above board within!

I'm assuming the CoT is LR, the seer (who confirmed LW), LW (who confirmed Tom), Tom and an other? Then the three mentioned perviously are not in hte CoT but are 'trusted'.

That would make 4 pepole in hte CoT currently with another 3 outsiders!?

Yeah, something like that. I was one of the extras that they brought in to axe Steady. The circle of trust is pretty useless while its numbers are small so they have to draft in extras to get things done. Of course my innocence hadn't been confirmed so I was given enough information to help the circle but not so much as to jeopardise anything.
