Anyone else played this game since this massive update? It's like a new game, with the graphics doubled in quality, more variety in planet surfaces and a third person mode. Really has taken what was a decent, but ultimately boring game to the next level. Really glad I bagged it for £5 on a deal a few months back now.

If you have it sitting around gathering dust I suggest you boot it up and allow the update to run. And if you don't have it, I recommend you pick it up, especially if you see it on a deal.

I personally think it's fantastic that they've started the process of pretending to finish a 50 quid game 2 years after it was released.

A guid dram
If it was more of a sim-like space game like Elite (which, for all its flaws I love), and didn't have the cartoony graphics; I'd give it a go. Read a bit about the updates for it though and it sounds very impressive, and if Hello Games continue to upgrade it with quality content (free too by all accounts), then I may give it a go down the line.

Got too much to finish just now though before I even think on that.

Never played it pre update as it was critically panned, although I always liked the idea of the game.

Heard good things about the update so bit the bullet & got it (was on sale on Steam for about £20). Absolutely loving it... it's not as grind heavy as other 'survival' type games & also has the benefit of you don't have to be an unemployed teenager to succeed unlike games like Ark.

Idea of this game was amazing. I remember I read about it in a magazine on an EasyJet flight and was totally sold by the idea.

Bought it as soon as it came out. Played about 3 hours and never really played again.

I was actually about to trade this in today after work but I'll give it another shot after reading this.

Had enough of the adverts on this forum mate, particularly when on a mobile. It's shite. I come back and have a quick read occasionally but not much more than that.

Please come back Pags, we love you. Adblock makes it just about bearable. I miss you :(
