Some dreadful followings this year.

Compare the 1000+ Aldershot fans at Kingfield on NYD to the 150 odd Hampton brought.

Are you actually going to win a game any time soon?! Surely you have to beat Braintree in your next game if you’ve got any chance of staying up.

Braintree are in reasonable form so they will beat us next week.

Mensah going off injured was the final nail in the coffin.

591 Chesterfield at Fylde I think I heard. Great set up st Fylde, belting little club.

Attendance: 2,175 (491 Spireites supporters)

From your official site.

120 Dover fans at Salford

2498 in total. seems high. Was that just for Beckham being there?

Where did you get this from, I've found nothing so far.

Is it official, or just an estimate?

Cheers.
So an estimate then. You'd have thought that they would have known the exact figure, but that'll have to do.

It astonishes me that a) I have to pay £20 to watch Football at this level and b) some fans try to justify their clubs doing so
Whilst I agree that £20 is scandalous to watch football at this level, as a fan owned club we rely massively on gate receipts and if we lowered our adult away prices to £15, it'd dent our promotion hopes significantly.

What's Boreham Wood's excuse for charging that much to anyone between the ages of 16 and 65?

We’re not exactly owned by millionaires yet we charge £15 for adults

To stand. It's £17 if you want a seat with next to no legroom, a mere £3 less than what we charge (£2 less if you get an advance ticket at the Cae Ras). We also serve beer in our away end.

I forget that the legroom in the away section at the Racecourse is so spacious and luxurious*. And the amazing saving of a whole £1 for an advanced booking. Top stuff. As a non-drinker I’m personally not bothered by a lack of alcohol sales, and for about 95% of the matches I attend I wouldn’t pay for food inside the venue either. To be honest I go to the Football to watch Football. It’s the product on the pitch that takes me to different ‘stadiums’ in the National League. Also Wrexham fans were welcome in our club bar before and after every game you’ve ever played at Gander Green Lane. Same with virtually all away fans.

(*It is possible that the seating in the away end may be luxurious at the Racecourse, however I’ve never actually sat in my seat, as I prefer to stand watching Sutton)

Totally skimmed the point. You charge £2 less than we do for seats, and your facilities are far and away from what we offer (and our facilities aren't exactly brilliant). Never mind.

We charge less and have lesser facilities (although you do have bar access pre and post match). How very odd.....Not that anyone travels to watch Football for the facilities

You've got the oldest international stadium in the world on one hand. And a load of tin sheds on the other. One costs more to maintain.

243 reds in a dismal crowd of 645 at Borehamwood.

Great following to take midweek.

We'll have some fans who will do the whole 1200+ miles to the 3 games this week as the National League try and fixture us out of contention.

I do sometimes wonder what kind of lives the fans who can do 1200+ miles in a week live. All credit to them, but Christ it must be all consuming

They're doing a couple of day trips out in the UK, not camping out in Siberia.

I can't do Gateshead, otherwise I'd have been at the 3. Getting FOMO for that one already, and it's only Gateshead ffs.

I didn’t say they were? It just must be difficult to balance a job and family around a Tuesday night trip from Hartlepool to Ebbsfleet and back, for example.

Chester fans all live with their mum and dad still, so they don't understand.

To be fair we have a lot of exiles based in the South which make the numbers up, it’s not exactly 200+ fans going from North Wales each time.

Indeed. It’s why Wrexham and Pools will always bring more to Orient than vice versa. Nowt to do with them travelling better and everything to do with very few O’s fans being idiotic enough to move North.
