The initial move to The Hive took about 200 off our average attendance. The distance is about 8 miles I think, but travelling sideways around London is a nightmare by public transport. It's either take the tube into Central London and back out, or two buses. There was a shuttle bus but it was poorly used due to high prices. Ticket prices remain steep - they were fine in the first two seasons, then went up sharply after promotion and have only tacked down slightly since coming back down. The match day experience is piss poor - awful bar service, £6 for parking, terrace frequently closed to save on stewarding costs, broken scoreboard etc.

The biggest factor though is how awful we've been on the pitch for a full three years now.

It’s not overly far away but it is tricky/long to get to on public transport.

I’m of the opinion that the move to the Hive wasn’t anywhere near as much of a big deal as people are making it out to be (but that’s another topic) - but due to the club (read: chairmans) awful attempts at running the club then people aren’t making the effort.

As I keep saying - the club is slowly dying and has been for a while now. The chairman is past his time and his bad habits, reputation and personality have now harmed us beyond the point of no return. We’re finished, it’s just not a case of immediate urgency like Bury, Macclesfield etc.

Firstly- From where I live, travelling is a nightmare. When at Underhill it took 1 Bus and 15 minutes. Now it is 3 Buses and about 1hour 30. You try to get home from a midweek game and it almost takes until the next day. Secondly- Our Chairman is a great businessman and makes lots of money, but mainly at our fans expense. We have probably the dearest ticket prices, Bar prices Tea-hut prices and merchandise prices. Our Chairman owns part of Jako, but our replica kit and leisure wear is dearer than any other club using Jako. Thirdly- Through lots of lies and promises, our fans have lost faith. And finally- Having sold out to letting Spurs ladies use the ground alongside our 1st Team and our Ladies Team, crowd levels don't seem to be so important as the money is still rolling in. Turning over in the region of 8 million a year at the Hive, we then get the bullshit that because of the FFP rules we can't buy a striker that we have been crying out for ever since we sold Akinde. The club is poisoned at the moment and nobody seems to know how to change it.

Full supporters bus and there was a dozen of us on the same train home plus those who made their own way. I was guessing more like 80/90 to be honest.
