Yes, it's the norm, likely to prevent our fans from sitting in the away end if home tickets get near to selling out. In larger games as well, it is wise to sell tickets as we will know in advance whether we need to open the lower tier or not.

If we have given you the lower tier, we would have given you around 1100 tickets. I would have thought you'd get close to that given the gravity of the fixture. By that I mean in the sense that it's 2 expected table toppers going head to head.
Fair enough. Looks like we have 900 tickets online so potentially selling a couple of hundred face to face at the ticket office suggesting we have been given both.

If it was later in the season we might get close but still fairly early doors it's not a bigger game as it could have been if that makes sense.

We've covered some serious miles this season by our standards (Aldershot, Kings Lynn, Dover and Yeovil away so far) and have Woking away next Tue, you Tue after followed by a trip to Southend on the 8th so it's not been a cheap do. I've done them all apart from Dover and will miss Southend I think and do the two midweekers but they seem to be coming thick and fast for some reason.

Based on that I think we will bring about 500 maybe, which I still think for a Tuesday night is good at this level. If we win the next 2 it might be slightly more but i'd be suprised.

Everywhere seems to be all ticket now. Think all of our away games have been, no chance of fully selling out any of them.
We've not had any fully All Ticket yet - Aldershot and Kings Lynn advertised it as but let fans pay on the day. Dover was full POTD I think and Yeovil you could do either/or but was £3 cheaper in advance.

Woking and Southend were both sold out allocations. Alty was non segregated, so an estimate.

Aldershot was segregated but no official figure given as yet. They had sold 164 tickets by midday of the game. On day sales seemed to be another 80 or so.
Cheers, just estimates then. Seems strange to do that, but hey ho.

I've thought about this a few times already....WTF are they designating a third of the stand, when there's hardly anyone there, why not give them the last 'section' of the away bit, seperated by the usual cordon of netting & stewards...and then, more seats available for Home fans? But as someone pointed out out on Red Passion, it's all to do with the 'facilities' under the stand.....ie, khazi's, food etc....

Weve sold 1700 for todays game apparently. Hopefully lots of home fans going to boo at Rusk, should be a good atmosphere- lets hope both teams morons behave, this tie has historically been a bit 'naughty'.

Lol just realised the train full of Notts heading up to Altrincham has a half hour change in Stockport. Was hoping to sneak a pint in, forgot you two were playing each other today.

Adding a few hundred Notts fans into the mix? can't see anything wrong with that

Around 180 Stones at Kings Lynn.

Looked more than Dagenham had there when they said they had over 200.

Estimate of 75 Blyth at Chester.

Fair play, they were a decent bunch as well.

Probably not, we can’t attract fans with all the football clubs on our doorstep. Be lucky to get up to 1500, be outnumbered by Southend at home next month.

Wouldn’t worry JS you will get 3 points against us, and it’s always a friendly, competitive atmosphere.
