A paltry 171 Stones at Wood. Home fans paying half of what away fans were being the prime reason.

Pricing in general was an issue, but that’s poor either way. We had more at Notts on a Tuesday night earlier in the season.

Brilliant effort from Notts and Grimsby on a Tuesday night.

Good gate for a Tuesday at the Hall with us near the bottom of the table, just shy of 5,000. Hat's off to the 80 from Yeovil, good effort.

1450 Grimsby at Halifax.
That stand you were in only holds 1200. Wrexham bought more, not by much and their support was 1196. I would say you had 1000 there were some pockets of blue at ends. Still an amazing effort by your fans though. Should have never been all ticket!

He's lying. It's pathetic, he himself wasn't at either game, but hilariously pretends he is an authority on the Grimsby attendance tonight. Meanwhile his club says there were 1000. I just can't decide who to believe .   :fl:

You were only allocated 1200 and there were still some unsold this morning.

Fair enough if 1450 isn’t correct but I was going off the replies on this thread where a few people say it and a lot of other Tweets saying it too:

That's how lies are spread, someone says something, someone repeats it, someone else hears him and repeats it and soon everyone is repeating the same lie over and over....

Haven't you cried yourself to sleep yet anyway, chuck. :fl:
Why would I be crying, I’m used to us losing to tinpotters now so tonight was nothing new.

Do Halifax not announce away attendances then? Thought I'd read that there were 50 tickets left of 1200 after returns after the postponement so I'd guess around 1100ish?

We usually do. It seems like the ticket fiasco has caused confusion from both ends. We are usually pay on the day only.

Yes, we usually do, but I suspect the fact you were selling the tickets, the club had received the info from you. Comparing you to Wrexham’s following you were slightly less, so 1000-1100 would be bang on the money. We aren’t used to All ticket down the shay and our tinpot nature the club stopped selling on the day. Hundreds on Facebook during day looking for tickets. Guarantee we have lost out a few hundred sales today.

Absolutely no trouble, but it was a win/win for WYP and their overkill. If they’re had been trouble, they would have said “you needed us”. Or no trouble like last night and they will now say, “It’s because of our brilliant planning”.

A 4-5000 crowd been reduced to 3000. Thank you WYP.

Yeah, exactly. They'll be patting their own backs on a job well done. I haven't seen a jot of trouble at any of our away matches this season, something that will not get reflected on next time we're having an allocation slashed. This fuck up was essentially avoided due to the original match being postponed, but I hope we don't get put in a position whereby we have our Boxing Day allocation restricted next season. Lincoln requested to not have us as their Boxing Day/New Year double header when we were both last down here so I hope that we do something similar with you lot (if we're both in the division). No offence intended to be directed at your club, I really like The Shay and Halifax as an away day, I just don't want WYP pissing us about on what should be a day that we take loads of fans to somewhere relatively local.

I’m not sure who first came up with that 1450 figure then and also why they would just make it up.
I believed it at the time as I saw quite a few saying it and when the fixture was rearranged it said more tickets were available if needed so I presumed we had been given more.

I don't remember seeing that. Weird that they didn't say how many.

600 sold for FA Trophy so far on Sst
We might get outnumbered! Loads I know not bothering with 3 home games in 3 weekends and the other two games against Stockport and Halifax much more important

Could well get outnumbered, 4 of my usual crew of 7 not coming. Trophy is really a meh comp until the semi finals when you’ve been down here for a few years.
