They have been in unbelievable form of late and to bring so little for a 3 hour journey is pathetic. No 2 ways about it.
We took nearly 200 down there when we were in our shit patch of the season.

Credit to the ones that did make the journey, but for a team averaging 1500 at home games should be averaging at least 150 at away games imo.

Why should they average 150? A 3 hour journey to watch crap non-league Football isn't a short journey. This willy waving about numbers is childish. Yes there is an interest in seeing away numbers for curiosity sake, but to use it as a yardstick to mock other support bases is a little sad. Why should more people give up their Saturday to travel up and down this country to watch Football? Yes, we're all passionate about our clubs but some people may not be able to commit to 6 hours travelling for 90 minutes of Football, or may have other things going. To judge others numbers harshly is rather sad. (And I say this as someone who travels 200 miles each way on a regular basis for home games)

Half decent away support is 10% of home on average. Regardless of level of home support. We take nearly 10% even to the far southern games.

But why is there something considered 'half-decent away support'? That in itself is a strange notion and I'm a regular away supporter of my team

Yeah but I’m guessing you have a lot more fans (as a %) based in London/SE than we do in the North West for example.

No away fan entered through the home entrance. It’s not possible

That's not true - on our visit, at least me and two others went to the away ticket desk but got given home tickets and entered via the same turnstile as the home fans.

We do have a decent spread of exiles, probably at its lowest up here in the north east as far as England is concerned, but we've had better away support in this league than our last few seasons in leagues 1 and 2. Local games help, but also expecting to win more than you lose definitely helps.

Judging only on our visit, but you're nowhere near as organised as you seem to think you are with the handling and charging of away fans.

Oh definitely not when we visited last season, it was chaos they were selling ale by the barrels all day long. And I spotted young teenagers getting tanked up all afternoon, they must have made an absolute killing that day. An opportunity was their to make money and they took full advantage!
It was a disaster waiting to happen and it did, so Fylde are not without blame here.

Excellent following for that level... I’m guessing only Chelmsford’s following at Braintree has topped that?

FA Trophy Quarter finals so the away following was far higher than what it would be far a run of the mill league game. Chelmsford had 414 officially at Braintree from memory but their supporters were adamant that they had over the 1,465 crowd.

Dartford I'd imagine would have taken around that figure to Welling on Boxing Day too.

Is that so, we waited at the away entrance which was not open, a couple of stewards beconed us over to the entrance to the left of the away entrance, we followed some what looked like AFCF fans through the turnstiles , to a refreshment kiosk where there we Dover fans and AFCF fans together , we walk through the stand turned right walked along the front of the stand , through a gate to the away standing area, to me that was going through the home turnstiles, if that in not correct ,, why were the away turnstiles closed

Hope Fylde have the away turnstiles open on Saturday because I can see us having at least 400 - one coach is going up Friday with another 3 going up on Saturday

Very low from us but not surprising, must be one of our lowest followings for many years.

People there saying there was at least 100 though. Not that it matters in the grand scheme.

Looked to me that you had just under half of the seats full, which has a capacity of 170 - so 65 doesnt seem that far out to be honest, you definitely didnt have more than 100.

65 is more than a lot of clubs would take on a 10+ hour round trip at 72 hours notice - in the circumstances it was a good turnout

There was a good 30-40 on the South side slab first half.
