I do agree with this. Promotion should be based on number of fans, how much noise they make and the number of flags.

I was sure I counted more than 58 on the telly. I think they did the same to us a couple of years ago for the now legendary FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round tie, when they said we only had 180 there.

yeah 58 seems very low even though the game was on tele/weather is crap/we are shite. Even in them circumstances, I'd doubt we'd have taken less than 100.

If it really was 58, then it would be another sign of the apathy that's crept in particularly with recent home crowds becoming sub 3000

392 Tranmere in a bumper crowd of 801 at Boreham!

It was pointed out last night on our Facebook page that the official crowd at our game at Boreham Wood early last season on a Tuesday night was:

801 (392 Tranmere). Exactly the same crowd and away support as was given for Saturday.

Funny that when the general opinion of most of the Rovers fans who braved the neat Artic conditions on Saturday was that there were far more Tranmere fans than home fans in attendance.

There are always more away fans when we go they just like to not announce it. They have about 300 maximum. Look at whn they played Maidenhead there was about 25 in the stand opposite the Cameras.

I think the away support Barrow announce is only the terrace, it was the case when we went there earlier this season anyway.

That happened when Lincoln went there last year, announced as a few hundred but there were 2000 more in the seats apparently.........

Well, that’s the point. You should be bettering it by 1,500-2,000, especially considering your league position.

No. Where have I suggested that? The fact that we’re holding up above 4,000 is a miracle and we wouldn’t be pulling more than 5,000 if we were top. Maybe I’m just overestimating Tranmere.
