Does that include those not able to stand on the terrace?
We're not allowed to stand on the front bit any more. Away section supposed to hold up to 600, but looked very full; maybe only gave you 400 spaces?

Even if we only had 400 spaces we had at least another 100 standing on the front, the whole way round the corner and nearly half way up the seated side. The official figure of 367 just doesnt make sense unless we only had 250 on the terrace?

The new terrace can look deceptive. Two steps between barriers, but looks full when just one person there, with people standing five deep on the flat river side. But your section did look full.

Announced 1,686 at Daggers, with 316 away apparently.

Good turnout and decent noise. FairPlay anyone that travelled tonight some awful midweek journeys.

Was shocked when I saw the picture. With all the people moaning about the price and saying they weren't going, I was genuinely only expecting about 100.

Not that far really and £21 sounds good once you've been to Boreham and paid £18 for a nothing terrace. Still to expensive though.

Nah, it's one of our closer games, but I think it's more the fact it's £20+ that put a lot off, especially if they weren't only paying for themselves. One guy I know was going to take his son and wife to be. £63 before travel and any food and drink. As I said earlier on, a game like this (midweek in Essex) we'd normally take anything between 150-350, but thought it would be lower. Glad it wasn't, and sounded like a good atmosphere on the radio.

That'd still be 100 more than Chester have brought to The Shay in the past 5 years. Despite promising to bring up to 1000 each time, even when they actually got decent crowds, they've come out with excuse after excuse why they've never showed up. :bdick:

The last time we played Halifax the game was called off at 1.00 pm on the day of the match. The coaches were there and many cars. There would have been at least 500 as we were on a good run at the time. Footnote we won the rearranged game 2-0.

A fan on our message board said he counted 35 away fans. I'm guessing it wasn't segregated - I wasn't there myself.

I've seen estimates on our forum around 30 or so. I wasn't there either, the joy of being an exile

^ See what I mean? They've ALWAYS got an excuse. I think you're talking about the FA Trophy game in 2016? You lost 1-0 and brought about 50 on a Wednesday night. They brought less than 200 for an FA Cup replay in 2012 and claimed it wasn't fair, they'd have brought more if they'd had more notice. ^ :fl:

If it helps end this tedious little back & forth, the answer is that you're both tinpot no-marks who barely travel in better numbers than Gateshead. Hope that helps.

It doesn't really, mainly because it is factually incorrect. Thanks anyway.

And by the way, I'm the pillock on this forum, stop stealing my act. :bdick:
