As I say I liked how much more attacking we were under Askey on Saturday and at Cambridge it was better even though we lost... than said Saturday 19 shots and no goals isn't ideal! Was the haul of chances also down to how dire Morecambe were also?

I would drop Harris tonight, maybe even tempted to go for Miller as he wont throw Turner in... Whitfield I would like to come in and maybe Conlon for Joyce or Kay if Manny isn't ready.

I wouldn't be totally against Monty starting but he is either a world beater or a calamity, more often the latter. His form just before his injury was good though.

We need to be winning these type of games against mid table sides to get out of this... and I dare say Tranmere will see it as one they need to win to try and save their season from fizzling out so might see both sides have a go.

It’s better though as previously stated Legge should be in for Rawlinson. Can’t be leaving out our best players in the situation we are in. Just hope if we lose Askey doesn’t take this as validation he should have gone with Joyce and Kay. Would also say in the event Pope is not being effective like recently rather than flog a dead horse would like Askey to be brave and be willing to sub him.

Although we don’t concede many overall our defence really does just switch off a lot. Need Legge on that pitch moreso for the leadership he provides there.

Saturday was a bit of an improvement especially in the first half, but this is back to awful.
