Massive game this given saturdays defeat to Exeter a win means we will stay up in the automatic places ahead of the weekend where we don't play due to hosting Swansea.

Hoping that Nolan picks the team that ended the game and doesn't make mass changes.

We haven't got any centre halves. I'd snap your hand off for a nervy 1-0 right now. Only kidding, I think Duffy will make it but if Brisley and Tootle are both out that's two big misses. Hopefully we will abandon the 4-5-1 experiment and go back to what has served us well, with Shola starting.

No idea who's definitely fit or whether Harry will pick our strongest available XI.
I think it will be entertaining though. Hoping for a draw and maybe 55 Reds fans to witness it.

Who starts alongside Duffy? I'd be tempted to recall Pierce Bird to be honest. Think Hewitt is much better as a center mid.

I would also take a low scoring win. Need to get back to winning ways asap to maintain our automatic spot

Pressure on, but it should be a routine, easy win for Notts.

Nolan's lost it.

No need to change our style and go with an overly attacking midfield. Hewitt and Virtue in the middle with Hawkridge on the wing will do just fine - shoe-horning Husin and Noble in at the expense of the overall balance is bizarre.

2 red cards and a last second goal conceded. Not the best night for County and can now go down to fourth if teams below win their games in hand.

What the actual....

Why change the way we have played all season? It doesn't make any sense... Why select the same formation that was so poor against Exeter?

What is Fitzsimons doing? Matty Virtue has done nothing to convince me he is good enough

What on Earth happened in stoppage time then?! Just seen the score, looks like it got feisty at the end?

How the hell did you get two men sent off after the 90th minute?

Bloody good result for us. I'm beginning to believe!

Believe that mid table obscurity is achievable.

I’m on a roll recently, had Chesterfield to beat Luton and Liverpool to beat City in a double the other weekend, Exeter to beat County in a winning 7 fold Saturday, and I lumped on Crawley for tonight!!!

It’s all about how you respond in the next game or two now, could make or break any potential for a automatic spot.

Think one was for 2 yellows and another for kicking one of your guys ..

Are you happy with Kewell?

Our next two are Crewe at home and Barnet away and I would still fancy us tbh - assuming we abandon the utterly fucking bizarre 4-5-1 formation we've started playing and go back to what has been successful all season. It wouldn't be so bad but when we switched to 2 strikers v Exeter we were dominant, almost grabbed a draw, and most people thought that would be the end of that particular experiment. But to go back to 4-5-1 from the start tonight, with 3 central mids who barely know each other, was totally bizarre.

Again, we switched to two strikers 2nd half and again, dominant, until our keeper loses the plot in injury time, catches the ball from a corner - but instead of starting an attack he kicks a Crawley player in front of the ref, gives away a pen, and is sent off. Unbelievable.

Bad few days, only positives are we have over a week now til our next league game to regroup, we at least have the points on the board, and surely the 4-5-1 formation has been consigned to fucking history.

Our goalkeeper just karate kicked a man to concede a last minute penalty whilst he was safely holding the ball. What a club we are, never change.

That’s the thing that is both incredibly frustrating but also a glimmer of hope, for me anyway. It’s all been so unnecessary and self inflicted the last few days, but shouldn’t be hard to fix. People will point to Yates going, but as soon as we’ve reverted to our direct 4-4-2 with Stead and Ameobi up front and a midfield pair in the last two games, we’ve suddenly looked like the team we have all season and should’ve nicked a point on Saturday and won tonight (obviously can’t legislate for Fitzsimons going postal in stoppage time).

I think if we’d have just started with the obvious team/system we’d have won both games. That’s annoying, but hopefully two defeats have focused the mind for Nolan and he stops dicking about.

He’s a talented young keeper who has had a great season (and shown no previous kung fu tendencies), so I hope he comes back from it, but yeah. It’s not a great a look.

Crazy game. Still can't believe what your keeper did.
An enjoyable night out though.
I think that's also the most frustrated I've seen a home crowd with a referee.
I'm not sure who was doing what to who most of the time between our CH's and your attackers, but it all looked feisty from both sides.

Credit where credit is due. Couldn't believe it when saw league position.
Sure he had some sort of meltdown/ incident with fans at an away game earlier this season when things were going badly.
Notts will regroup i'm sure, all teams have periods like this.

Yet the manager seems to be blaming the ref for originally making a mistake...well maybe true but does that mean you then kick out at somebody after they have caught the ball (so the corner didn't lead to anything..)

Players think they can get away with doing silly things because they usually do!

Maybe that is just how managers act in public - don't blame the player in front of the media but deal with the situation behind closed doors so to speak.

He had a right go at Fitzsimons after that as well I think.

The ref was diabolical though. How Crawley's 22 stayed on the pitch I don't know, he was booked, then handled in the area then clobbered Hewitt off the ball in front of the ref. The Ref then missed a blatant elbow by the Crawley 15 on Duffy in the box just after Fitzsimons saw red. Didn't even stop.play for the head injury, unbelievable
