Prescot Cables have announced that David Dempsey will take up the reins as manager for the 2024/25 season.

Joining him at the Joseph Russel Stadium is his assistant coach Chris Stammers.

The pair will fill the void left vacant by the departures of Steven Daly and Peter Cumiskey.

Prescot Cables Unveil New Management Team

Prescot Cables have announced that David Dempsey will take up the reins as manager for the 2024/25 season.

The pair will fill the void left vacant by the departures of Steven Daly and Peter Cumiskey.

Prescot Cables managerial saga takes sensational U-turn as Ste Daley returns.

Steven Daley and Peter Cumiskey have sensationally returned to Prescot Cables just four days after resigning.

In the aftermath of Daley"s departure on Monday, chairman Tony Zeverona and some of the board of directors were subject to indirect and direct abuse, forcing the club to condemn the response from fans.

On Friday morning, Zeverona resigned as chairman and replaced by Joe Gibiliru. Despite initially parting ways after the budget was cut, following a reforecast from the board, a compromise was reached after a conversation with the new chairman and Daley.

There is a hope they will be able to retain most of the players that had originally left after the mass exodus within the football club.
