I was listening to a WWE podcast this morning that suggested it was the best match in the history of NXT - which is high praise indeed! I'll watch it and Survivor Series tomorrow evening, I think.

I've been saying for a while that The Revival are secretly the best tag team going in WWE right now, I think. I know, yeah, I'm probably even putting them above the American Alphas and such. But they just have a knack for having special matches time after time. And yeah, that one vs DIY was possibly the best yet.

Anyway, that Samoa Joe vs Nakamura match took place in Osaka today... it's apparently going to be shown on the next episode of NXT.

I have to say, while this forum has been down the biggest disappointment for me has been the fact that I've not been able to come on and talk to you all about how GLORIOUS Bobby Roodes music is.

It's exploded his popularity. A lot of us obviously already knew who he was from his TNA days, but even people who hadn't had a clue are now so fucking into him just because of that theme and that promo. It's amazing. It's like, so pretentious, so silly and over the top... but at the same time, you get the feeling that Bobby Roodes character completely does not see any form of a joke in it what so ever. He's just GLORIOUS, the music is GLORIOUS, and that's all there is to it.

Fucking hell. Can't wait until Takeover... the thought of 15,000 singing along to that in the Barclays center. That's going to be amazing.



He actually wrestled down here in Plymouth at an NXT Live show in June. Was pretty basic, but over as fuck because he was English

Screw 15,000 people singing his intro, I'm praying he makes his debut on the main roster at 1 of 3 places. Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania or Raw the day after Wrestlemania, one of those would be epic for a debut.

To emphasis how good it is, I made that post back in August and can confirm that his music is still fucking magic after all this time.

On the topic of that post though, where I mentioned how great it'd be to see him come out at Takeover in New York... yes, it was just as Glorious as I imagined it'd be. Along with Nakamuras entrance that night with the violin, I saw two of the best entrances I've ever seen live that night.

NXT right now, though... is it just me, or is it at somewhat of a comparatively low point? Yes it's been pillaged ALOT in the last year (the usual night after WM call ups, a bunch more for the draft, then Bayley and Joe both going up on their own as well) but that's kind of the nature of NXT, only it usually manages to just keep on kicking out more great stuff. Don't get me wrong, I love Nakamura, Roode, Asuka, DIY, The Revival and Dillinger but outside of that lot, I'm not entirely keen on the rest of the roster. No Way Jose annoys the fuck out of me, Andrade is great in the ring but just a tad dull outside of it, I can't get into Sanity (And completely fail to see why Eric Young came with such hype) and there's not really much else of note. I know Roderick Strong came highly rated, but thus far, to me, he just looked as generic as it comes. But maybe I'll see the light with him one day. Plus Kassius Ohno has just showed up, and I've literally never seen anything of his, so maybe he'll wow me.

But, we're a matter of months away from what will probably be yet another big post WM call up, this time for Raw and Smackdown. Imagine from that list above, for example, Nakamura, Asuka, Dillinger and The Revival leave NXT as well. It's looking a bit sparse...

I reckon WWE need to go on another signing spree. Get some of these big indy names I keep hearing about. Omega, Ricochet, Ospreay, and so on.

There was a cracker of a Last Woman's Standing match between Asuka and Nikki Cross on this week's NXT. Their feud has been brilliant, I don't want it to end.

It was good to see Ranallo back on commentary, too.

Ricochet vs. Pete Dunne, from this week's episode, is a really excellent clash-of-styles match. One of the best singles matches in WWE (any brand) this year, I reckon. Check it out if you haven't done so already.
