Is this 'predicting a Pools loss so we won't get beat' thing still working then? :lol: A well known U's fan used to predict a 2 nil U's loss every time back in 2013 - the year we won promotion - and it sure worked for some time! Or perhaps we really had a half decent side back then!

It's funny how loads of people aren't superstitious at all except when it comes down to the footy. Back in the aforementioned season I used to wear Utd's 2004/05 home shirt (our last season in the FL) every single time I listened to the live match comm on the radio FFS :ffs:

This superstitious thing is actually a good idea for a new thread I reckon, as everybody's got a particular ritual they have to adhere to, and some of these pre match rituals border on the ridiculous.
