I've been to Turkey a few times, the coastal resorts are (as you say) full of British idiots, however inland it's another world and the locals are really friendly; not like the guys that have to touch you and your females when trying to drag you into their shop, bar or restaurant. Give me the Lincolnshire Riviera over the Turkish coast anytime!
