mowgli's experienced enough in this game to show that with careful consideration, and with hindsight, a predicta can be changed if needed..taking into consideration a change in form,team members,a premonition or just a hunch....
playing the joker and going for the win every time is working for you...at the moment!!
i would actually say that mowgli's decision, by a logical thought out process, proves what a good player he actually is!!
