Cardiff (A) - 0-2 win providing they keep Trollope, they probably won't and they'll end up beating us, but we shall see.

QPR (A) - Another night away game. 1-1 draw, QPR have been poor this season so the sort of game we should win, but would take a point.

Blackburn (H) - 2-0. Got to beat Blackburn at home, should be a bumper crowd for this one as well.

Hull City (H) - 0-2. Last 16 of the cup, would be nice to get into the quarters but reckon they'll put out a strong side.

Barnsley (A) - A Saturday in gloomy Yorkshire, and probably an unhappy return to LJ's former club. 2-1.

15 October - Brentford (H) - Surely should be looking to win and end bad home form. 3-1
18 October - Barnsley (A) - Away form has been pretty imperious. 1-0
22 October - Ipswich (H) - Again, got to be winning this. 2-0
29 October - Preston (A) - Toughest of the Month. 1-1

Aston Villa (H) - Won
Brighton (A) - Lose
Huddersfield (H) - Win
Norwich (A) - Lose
Newcastle (H) - Draw

We play the top 4 so could quite easily lose every remaining game this month, can see us grinding out three points in one of them though.

Good job we won that Villa game.

QPR (A) - 2-1 win - I'm getting boozed for this on the STELLA, so it needs to be a win.

Aston Villa (H) - 1-0 loss - They are coming off the back of RDM.

Rotherham (A) - 3-1 win - They are shit.

Arsenal (A) - 3-1 loss - I'm getting boozed for this on the STELLA, so hope our goal isn't just a consolation.

Nottingham Forest (H) - 1-1 draw - Dull game.

As for the cup, i'm hoping Newcastle make a bunch of changes and we scrape a win in extra time.

Coming off the back of a poor run after the international break. Morale will have taken a hit from the Tommy Wright incident. Reckon we'll bounce back though and it'll go something like this.

Fulham (H) - Had a great start like us but also like us have faltered a bit recently. Really need to be looking to take 3 points off them at home. WIN.

Newcastle (H) - In form and only team to have scored more goals than us this season. Will probably fill the away end too. DRAW

Brentford (A) - Tough away day. Will depend a lot on upcoming developments with Smith one of the faves for the Villa job. Will be glad of a draw but reckon it'll be a narrow defeat. LOSE

Bristol City (H) - Similar to the Fulham game. Got to be taking all 3 points in these home games. WIN

If it pans out like that I will be quite happy come November 1st.

We're playing some of the worst defensive teams in the league so we might actually score. I'm not confident of predicting anything else.

Leeds (H) - New manager buzz, 2-1 WIN.

Brentford (H) - Score draw I reckon, DRAW.

Huddersfield (A) - Tough couple of last games, doubt we'll be up to this yet. LOSE.

Sheffield Wednesday (H) - Draw again. DRAW.

5/12 is hardly inspiring but it's where we're at.

Play off contenders should be winning all those except maybe QPR. We'll see.

7 from 4 and through in the cup will be acceptable.

Cardiff (A) - Regardless of getting rid of Trollope they're still a team in the relegation zone who are struggling massively - Win
QPR (A) - Not sure what to expect from this, 1 win in 6 but 3 draws as well - Draw
Blackburn (H) - Should win this, home with a decent sized support, hopefully a nice confidence booster going into the cup game - Win
Hull (H) Last 16 Cup - We'll be right up for this and if results are predicted above in good form, think we could take it beyond the 90 mins but not sure of overall result - Draw (90 min score)
Barnsley (A) - Hopefully would have carried excellent momentum through the month, however will very much depend on how Barnsley do in the build up with the fall out from Wright, been slipping a bit as of late as well. - Draw at least, if they've had a poor month then a win could be on the cards.

8 or 10/12 would see a good return before moving onto a difficult 3 games in November, if we're still in the play offs its a success at any rate.

I think Barnsley will provide a sterner test than QPR will but we shall see.

Lost 3 of last 4 games, will depend how they start again after the break, poor start and we should be winning.

Very tough month for us - thinking a good result would be 4 points.

Newcastle (A) - long trip, tough place to go, but some of that could go in our favour. There's the potential for a draw here but I'm pretty certain it'll be a loss.

Derby (A) - a ground we don't tend to get the luck on, and we've had some hard games against Derby of late. Now Pearson is gone they'll be looking to build up a run of form so think we might again be in for a loss.

Barnsley (H) - we have been generally pretty good at home, Barnsley don't seem to be sitting back too much in this league, and teams that don't just sit back don't tend to do very well at Griffin Park. We'll want to bounce back from a couple of losses so will go for a win here.

QPR (A) - our third away game of the month, and our first local derby of the season. Would back us to put in an improved performance from last year (our worst game under Smith, and a time when a lot of us began to question him and his tactics a lot...), so we might sneak a win, but I think a draw is most likely.

4/12 points for the month, we'll fall out of the race for the play offs for a bit, but for the last few years we've been very strong in November and December, and there are some kind looking fixtures coming up ahead...

The game against you is the game that all of our supporters groups have designated a 'protest game' as it's on Sky. A chance to show the wider football audience why we're doing what we are. Similar to Charlton's and Blackpool's in the past couple of years.

Oh, a protest to throw your toys out of the pram because years of overspending on players you couldn't afford has got you nowhere?

That attitude to our situation is exactly why this protest is happening.

You know full well that's not what I meant by that. Bringing attention to our situation (there's more to it than Venky's, far more than I could ever be bothered to type) and gaining support from fans of other clubs in the hope that the FA/FL/even PL see it and actually investigate it, there are some alarming statistics out there about Venky's reign.

Like what?

You have shit owners? Every nearly club in the country has had shit owners at one point. What makes your case special compared to the others?

You've had it better than most supporting Blackburn in your era, most of the time being spent in the Prem, and a few years in the Championship (even seen European football at Ewood Park in recent times). Go and speak to Darlington, Wimbledon etc fans about what shitty owners are really like.

If you ever have time, take a look at our accounts for the past few financial years. For one year we had 90-something senior playing staff on the wage bill; if after that you don't believe something dodgy is going on then something's wrong.

I take your point about how some club's have had it worse than us currently, but who's to say we won't go to the wall in a few years time?

Or just sick off all the shite that your fans spout constantly. Football clubs go through good and bad times but you lot and the lashers can't seem to grasp this and then call it a protest when you stay away because your going through a bad patch.
The majority of football fans disagree with you, at least on Blackpool. I can't think why, perhaps it's because you're talking bollocks?

What were Blackpool fans protesting about the last time they were getting similar gates in the basement division?

Well we're shite, but new manager could (should) change things up...

PNE (a) - LOST, the end of RDM.
Wolves (h) - Seem to have dropped off, and we should have the new man in by then, we are so far (amazingly) unbeaten at home, though have only won one... Gonna count on the honeymood period here and say 2-1 Villa, we always tend to pull it out of the bag Vs Wolves. - WIN
Reading (a) - One of the form teams in the league, but we always seem to do well against Reading. If the new man isn't in for Wolves, he certainly should be for Reading. Can we finally win away from home? Fuck it, let's be positive for a change. 1-0. - WIN
Fulham (h) - Had them down to drop before the season started, and I've seen nothing to change my mind yet. Easy win to us, 3-0. - WIN
Small Heath (a) - They're going to be well up for this, especially if Bruce is our manager, but Bruce will also want to get one over his old team whilst in charge of their rivals, and to get our season well and truly up and running I reckon we'll win here too. 2-1. - WIN

Heh, never thought I'd be this positive, especially since we're playing some teams who've had good runs so far, but I feel it's about time we kick started our season, and I believe the new manager will help with that.

Don't worry, the usual pessimism will be resumed when Wolves beat us.
